Ezequiel Waigel raised to 250,000 in early position with A♥K♣ and Curtis Knight defended K♦8♠.
Both players hit top pair on the 6♦3♠K♠ flop and Waigel continued for 225,000. Knight called to the 6♣ turn, where both players checked.
Waigel improved to top two pair on the A♠ river and Knight checked again. Waigel checked back and took the pot.
Action folded around to the blinds, where Markku Koplimaa shoved for his last 480,000 from the small blind. Jose Rodriguez Zurita asked for a count and then called from the big blind to put Koplimaa at risk.

Koplimaa held the lead, but the J♠3♥5♠ flop pulled Zurita ahead with a pair of fives.
The 7♣ turn gave Koplimaa additional outs to a gutshot, but the 2♠ river kept Zurtia's pair of fives best — eliminating Koplimaa in 11th place.
Markku Koplimaa raised to 240,000 from under the gun before Santiago Plante three-bet to 800,000 in the small blind. Koplimaa, with around 900,000 remaining, quickly folded.
Koplimaa would get even shorter the next hand as he and Robin Ylitalo went heads-up in a limped pot between the blinds. Both players checked the 4♦9♥6♥ flop.
The turn came the 10♦ and Koplimaa bet 120,000. Ylitalo called to the 2♣ river and checked over to Koplimaa again, who this time checked back.
Ylitalo showed 6♦2♦ for rivered two pair and Koplimaa flashed the 6♣ as he mucked.
"Did I need to hit," Ylitalo asked as Koplimaa nodded.
Joao Sydenstricker opened to 250,000 from early position with A♠Q♠ and Simon Wiciak three-bet to 700,000 on the button with A♣9♦.
Curtis Knight then four-bet to 1,600,000 in the small blind holding J♦J♣ and both of his opponents folded.
Santiago Plante opened to 240,000 from under the gun and found one caller in Mohamad El Rais in the big blind.
El Rais checked to Plante on the J♦Q♥8♦ flop, who continued for 200,000. El Rais then check-raised all in for a bit over 900,000 and Plante quickly called to put El Rais at risk.

El Rais found himself in rough shape against Plante's set and would need some help to double up.
The 6♦ turn gave El Rais some additional outs with a flush draw, but the 5♣ river bricked out and El Rais was eliminated in 12th place.
Simon Wiciak raised to 250,000 from under the gun holding K♦6♦ and Curtis Knight three-bet A♠J♥ to 800,000 next to act. Joao Sydenstricker used a time bank before folding 10♥10♣ as action went back on Wiciak.
He then four-bet to 1,500,000 and Knight went into his time banks before mucking.
