On the hand after busting Daniyar Aubakirov, Carl Shaw opened to 220,000 from the hijack, then called when small blind Oshri Lahmani shoved all in for 850,000.

Shaw had Lahmani dominated as the Israeli's rail began calling for a king heading to the 5♦10♠10♦ flop. The 3♥ turn provided no help, while the 7♦ river sealed his elimination in 13th place as Shaw claimed yet another victim.
Santiago Plante put in 675,000 on the button, leaving himself just 220,000 behind, and Andre Akkari called in the small blind. The flop came A♥Q♥8♣ and Akkari led out for 300,000.
Plante looked around at the other table before calling for the rest of his chips.

Plante was ahead with his flopped pair of aces, and he remained in front on the 7♣ turn and 6♥ river to secure the double up.
Daniyar Aubakirov opened to 240,000 first-to-act and was three-bet by Carl Shaw in the cutoff to 900,000. Action folded back around to Aubakirov, who called.
Aubakirov checked to Shaw on the 10♦K♥9♣ flop and he continued for 550,000 Aubakirov then check-raised to 1,400,000 and Shaw called
The A♥ fell on the turn and Aubakirov went back to checking, which was met with a 1,700,000 bet from Shaw. Aubakirov announced he was all in for approximately 6,000,000 and Shaw snap-called to put Aubakirov at risk.

Shaw had flopped the nuts against Aubakirov, who was looking for the board to pair to remain in contention.
"This is a big one," Shaw said as he awaited the river.
The dealer brought the 4♠, which got an exhilarated "Yes!" from Shaw, who scooped a massive pot and eliminated Aubakirov in 14th place.
Ezequiel Waigel raised to 225,000 from the hijack and table nemesis Daniyar Aubakirov again three-bet, this time to 750,000 out of the small blind. Waigel quickly gave up his hand.
A few hands later, Robin Ylitalo opened to 220,000 in early position as action folded to Jose Rodriguez Zurita, who moved all in for 1,170,000 in the small blind. Ylitalo instantly folded.
Mircea Flutur open-jammed a stack of 850,000 from early position and Curtis Knight called in the small blind with a bigger stack.

The flop of 4♣J♠7♦ had Flutur drawing to just a queen before the runout of 6♠8♦ confirmed the elimination of the last qualifier remaining in the event.
Jose Rodriguez Zurita opened to 220,000 from early position and action folded around to Oshri Lahmani in the small blind, who shoved for his last 425,000. It was folded back to Zurita, who called to put Lahmani at risk.

The 2♦4♣A♥ flop all but ensured Lahmani's double up with a set and the 10♥ sealed the deal. An irrelevant 6♥ completed the board and Lahmani doubled up.
Mihai Niste opened to 200,000 from under the gun with A♠2♠ and was called by Joao Sydenstricker with K♣J♣ and Andre Akkari with A♣3♣. Simon Wiciak then three-bet to 800,000 in the small blind with A♦6♦ and all three of his opponents folded
Ezequiel Waigel raised to 225,000 under the gun before Daniyar Aubakirov three-bet to 500,000 in the hijack. Action folded back to Waigel who called as he and Aubakirov went heads-up to the flop.
Both players checked the J♥Q♥5♦ flop and Waigel also checked the K♣ turn. Aubakirov tapped the felt and the Q♣ fell on the river.
Aubakirov then fired out 750,000 and Waigel quickly called. Aubakirov turned over A♠Q♦ for trip queens and Waigel mucked.
