Rayhaan Fills Up on Vavilonskii; Norel Bombs the River on Ahuja

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Adam Rayhaan
Adam Rayhaan

Adam Rayhaan raised to 125,000 on the button and Andrei Vavilonskii called in the big blind.

The flop came K98 and Rayhaan continued for 125,000. Vavilonskii called to the 8 turn, where Rayhaan bet another 100,000.

Vavilonskii then raised to 275,000 and Rayhaan called. The river came the A and Vavilonskii led out for 150,000.

Rayhaan spent a few minutes in the tank before emerging with a raise to 500,000. Vavilonskii gave it some thought before calling as Rayhaan turned over 98 for a full house to win the pot.

While this hand was in progress, Eduard Norel and Ankit Ahuja were building a pot of around 2,000,000 on a completed board of 56Q107.

Norel then slid forward a bet of 1,550,000 and Ahuja went deep into the tank. "Sorry guys. I'm very close," Ahuja said as more than five minutes came off the clock.

"Take as much time as you want," tablemate Michele Guerrini told him. Ahuja eventually tossed his cards away and Norel took down the big pot without a showdown.

Nut Flush For Aygun

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Dauren Zhaparov and Aksel Aygun had just tangled in a pot where Zhaparov raised the river and Aygun called before the two chopped the pot with the same straight.

An orbit or so later, it was Aygun who raised the river as Zhaparov bet 100,000 on the 34Q98 board and Aygun raised to around 500,000. Zhaparov went in the tank and the clock was called before he eventually tossed in a call.

Aygun tabled AK for the nut flush and Zhaparov mucked in defeat.

"Scary Flop, Scary Turn, Scary Everything"

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Dauren Zhaparov opened to 100,000 in early position and Iulian-Remus Blebea and Aksel Aygun called from the hijack and cutoff, respectively, before Stanislav Tishkevich three-bet jammed a stack of 580,000 in the small blind.

Tishkevich covered his face with both hands and sat still as Dauren Zhaparov entered the tank, eventually landing on a fold. Meanwhile, Blebea shoved a bigger stack and Aygun got out of the way.

Stanislav Tishkevich: KK
Iulian-Remus Blebea: KQ

Tishkevich was in good shape to double as the flop landed 810J to give Blebea a open-ended straight draw. The 3 turn gave Blebea additional outs with a flush draw, but the 5 river was safe for Tishkevich as he earned the double.

"Scary flop, scary turn, scary everything!" Tishkevich said in relief as he raked in the pot.
