With the biggest stack of the table, Petre Ionescu opened on the button, and Ara Melkisetian in the big blind shoved for 220,000. Ionescu went into the tank, and eventually called.
Ara Melkisetian: Q♦Q♣
Petre Ionescu: A♦10♥
The board J♣6♥9♦K♦10♦ didn't change anything, and Melkisetian doubled up.
Silviu Baltateanu bet 60,000 from the button on a flop of 8♠10♠8♦ and Diego Rodriguez called under the gun.
Both players checked the 10♦ turn and Rodriguez also checked the Q♦ river. Baltateanu then bet another 100,000.
Baltateanu called the clock on Rodriguez after only a few seconds, and the floor ruled Rodriguez should be given more time.
"I've never called time in my life," Baltateanu told Rodriguez, who continued to ponder the decision for another minute.
"What do you have? Thinking all in? Thinking fold," Baltateanu asked as he interrogated Rodriguez. Rodriguez eventually slid his cards into the muck.
"I'll show one time, for you," Baltateanu said as he hovered his cards over the table. Rodriguez shook his head and Baltateanu returned his cards face down.
Marcin Dziubdziela has built up a stack of more than 1,000,000 at this table, while Anthony Khouzami is also at this table with an above-average stack.
Federico Macori raised to 30,000 in early position as action folded to big blind Mihaita Croitoru, who pushed all in for 85,000. Macori asked for a count before calling.
Mihaita Croitoru: A♣9♣
Federico Macori: A♠10♦
Croitoru was dominated as both players hit their ace on the 2♠8♣A♥ flop. The turn, though, brought the 9♦ and Croitoru took the lead with two pair.
The river Q♠ was safe for Croitoru and he doubled up.
At the same table, Steve O'Dwyer is sitting behind a massive stack of more than 1,500,000.
Umit Sadi was all in for 67,000 from early position, Teodor Evstratiev called for his last 16,000 in the cutoff, and Gaelle Baumann had both players at risk from the big blind.
Sergei Bagirov opened to 25,000 in middle position before getting a call in late position from Mehmet Berk Deniz. It was then on Georgios Panayides in the cutoff who moved all in. Bagirov folded and action was back on Deniz who went into the tank for over three minutes before finally putting in the chips.
Georgios Panayides: A♣J♣
Mehmet Berk Deniz: 10♦10♥
The full board ran out 6♠7♠4♣6♣3♦ and Deniz sent Panayides to the rail just before second break on Day 2.
Guray Turkay got his last 304,000 in the middle from early position, Dmitry Gromov shoved for 70,000 on the button, and small blind Ali Hassan had them both covered and at risk.
Dmitry Gromov: K♦J♠
Guray Turkay: 9♥9♠
Ali Hassan: A♥K♥
The 6♥Q♥4♠ flop gave Hassan the nut flush draw to go with his two overcards as he looked to knock out both players, but he missed the 9♣ turn and 6♦ river as Turkay made a full house to double up, while Gromov headed to the rail.
Hassan slammed his chips down on the table and angrily threw his cards into the muck as he paid off Turkay's double up.
