Ramon Kropmanns raised to 160,000 in middle position and Florian Guimond called in the big blind.
The flop came 6♥4♠6♦ and Kropmanns continued for 100,000. Guimond called as the A♣ fell on the turn.
Kropmanns then put out another bumblebee 100,000 chip and Guimond again called. The river came the J♥ and Kropmanns went bigger this time, moving all in.
Guimond had around 400,000 remaining and tanked for more than a minute before mucking.
Florian Guimond under the gun opened to 175,000, but saw Iulian-Remus Blebea moving all in from the big blind for 1,490,000. Guimond went into the tank for a few minutes, and eventually called.
Iulian-Remus Blebea: 9♣9♠
Florian Guimond: 8♣8♦
An eight came as the door card to give a set to Guimond. But Blebea also hit the nine on 9♦5♦8♥J♣7♦ to double up.

Ali Al-Kubasi: J♠J♥
Ramon Kropmanns: 9♥9♦
Al-Kubasi was poised for a massive double up until the flop came 8♣9♣5♥, giving Kropmanns top set. Al-Kubasi let out a loud groan after running into a set for the third time today and could only watch helplessly as the board ran out Q♠6♥, sending him to an early exit after starting the day in second place on the leaderboard.
At the same time on another table, Luka Bojovic moved all in for 320,000 in the hijack, Grzegorz Kozieja reshoved for 900,000 in the small blind, and Andrei Vavilonskii gave it some thought before mucking his big blind.
Luka Bojovic: A♠Q♠
Grzegorz Kozieja: 8♥8♣
Bojovic pulled in front on the 3♠A♦5♣ flop with a pair of aces, but Kozieja spiked the 8♦ on the turn to make a set.
"Wow, ace-eight I folded," Vavilonskii said, suggesting that Kozieja had hit a one-outer. The river was the 9♦ and Kozieja returned Bojovic's phone charger to him in return for the rest of his stack.
Adam Rayhaan raised to 170,000 on the button and Tom Vogelsang called in the small blind before big blind Azizjon Rakhimov, who had just had a cappuccino delivered to the table, moved all in for 1,175,000. Rayhaan folded, but Vogelsang called.
Azizjon Rakhimov: A♥K♦
Tom Vogelsang: 5♣5♦
Rakhimov came out on the losing end of the coin flip as the board came 6♥4♣10♦7♠6♠, sending him to the rail but not before remembering to take his cappuccino with him as he wished the table luck.
At the same time on another table, Andrei Vavilonskii and Alfred Karam were tangling in a pot with the board showing 7♥5♠8♦9♦. Karam bet 450,000 in the big blind before Vavilonskii moved all in for 1,765,000 from the small blind.
Karam called with J♥6♥ for a straight, but Vavilonskii had a higher straight with 10♣6♣. The river came the 5♣ and Karam was forced to hand over most of his stack.
David Kaufmann completed in the small blind and Stanislav Tishkevich checked his option in the big blind.
Kaufmann checked on the flop of 2♣8♠10♦ and Tishkevich bet 80,000. Kaufmann called. Kaufmann checked again on the K♠ turn and Tishkevich sized up to 140,000. Kaufmann again called.
Kaufmann checked once more on the 3♦ river and Tishkevich gave it some thought before checking back. Kaufmann showed ace-high with, A♥Q♠, but it was no good against the pair of eights of his opponent with 8♥4♣.
Roman Gadzhiev in early position opened to 130,000, and all the players at the table folded to Luka Bojovic in the big blind who chose to three-bet to 520,000.
Action back to him, Gadzhiev quickly moved all in for 2,535,000, and Bojovic snap-called.
Roman Gadzhiev: A♦Q♠
Luka Bojovic: K♦K♠
On J♣A♥2♥J♦5♥, Gadzhiev hit two pair to double up. As both stacks were almost even, Bojovic has now only 365,000 chips left.
