Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Stephen Chidwick opened to 5,000 from the hijack and Mauricio Ferreira Pais defended out of the big blind.

Pais checked on the flop of {3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Chidwick continued for a small 2,500. Pais check-raised to 8,000 and Chidwick called.

The turn brought the {7-Clubs} and Pais bet 10,000. Chidwick used a time bank and called. Pais then moved all in on the {5-Clubs} river and Chidwick snapped-called with his remaining 14,000.

Pais showed {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a rivered Wheel, but it was no good against the {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} of Chidwick for a rivered flush.

Mark Hammond: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Petar Kalev: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
