Three-Way All-In Leads to Double Bust-Out

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Andrii Kozlenko shoved his last 40,000 in the middle from early position. Hijack Roman Ulanov called all in for less; 27,000. In the big blind, Redouane Abed snap called, covering both players.

Andrii Kozlenko: {a-}{7-}
Roman Ulanov: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Redouane Abed: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Abed immediately took the lead on {2-Spades}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The turn {q-Hearts} sealed the fate of both of his opponents. The inconsequential {a-Hearts} came out on the river to give Abed a full house for the double knockout.

Atmaca Doubles Through Ansarian

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ercan Atmaca was under the gun in a heads-up pot against Payam Ansarian on the button with the flop reading {8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

Atmaca bet 15,000 on the flop and Ansarian called. Atmaca then moved all in for 41,000 on the {7-Diamonds} turn and Ansarian went deep in the tank as he counted out his chips and shuffled them around, somewhat similar to a move that got him in hot water yesterday. Eventually, Ansarian called.

Ercan Atmaca: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Payam Ansarian: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Atmaca's king was ahead and Ansarian was looking for a diamond for the nut flush or an ace for a better pair. Neither came as the river was a blank and Atmaca secured the double.

"I knew he had a pair," said Ansarian.

Pujebet and Akbari Bust on the Bubble; Both Get €855

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Guillaume Victor Pujebet - Gianluca Speranza
Guillaume Victor Pujebet - Gianluca Speranza

After an intense period of hand-for-hand play, the bubble has finally burst. Two hands played out at the same time and two players busted.

In the first hand, Guillaume Victor Pujebet shoved all in on the turn on a board of {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} and got called by Gianluca Speranza in the big blind. Pujebet had {6-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush, but Speranza showed {q-Spades}{4-Spades} for a higher flush. The river card did not matter and Pujebet was out of the tournament.

Across the room, and still hand for hand, Didier Bragiola raised to 15,000 from early position and Mani Akbari reshoved for 48,000. Bragiola called and the cards went on their backs.

Didier Bragiola: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Mani Akbari: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Bragiola's tens held. Akbari and Pujebet both busted on the bubble and split the min-cash prize for €855 each.

Botschi Eliminated on Soft Bubble

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Sebastien Botschi
Sebastien Botschi

On the soft money bubble, Sebastien Botschi open-jammed a stack of 15,000 from under the gun and Idir Haiche called on the button, while Nicolas Tytgat also called out of the big blind.

Tytgat checked on the flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Haiche, who was involved in a dramatic hand yesterday that involved a heated exchange between multiple players, bet 23,000. Tytgat called.

Tytgat checked again on the {k-Diamonds} turn and Haiche sized up to 44,000. Tytgat check-raised all in and Haiche folded.

Sebastien Botschi: {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Nicolas Tytgat: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Tytgat had flopped trips to have Botschi drawing dead headed to the {8-Diamonds} river to send the Frenchman out two spots off the money.

Plesuv Doubles on the Bubble

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Pavel Plesuv
Pavel Plesuv

An all-in and a call was announced during hand-for-hand play, and it concerned a hand between Pavel Plesuv and Antoine Lecamus. Plesuv had open-shoved 89,000 and got called by Lecamus. After waiting for the other tables to finish, their hands were shown down:

Pavel Plesuv: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Antoine Lecamus: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Plesuv was in dire need of help, while some of the field gathered around the table hoping that the bubble would burst.

The flop immediately brought a set for Plesuv: {8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Now it was Lecamus that was looking for his set instead. The turn {3-Spades} and the river {q-Spades} brought no king, however, and Plesuv doubled up while Lecamus was left short, continuing the bubble.
