Habib Doubles Through Kanit

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was caught on the turn with the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} board on show and 10,500 in the pot.

Walid Bou Habib checked from under the gun which prompted Mustapha Kanit to bet 7,300 on his direct left. Habib then jammed for 30,400 which sent Kanit into the tank.

"I'm just glad you didn't snap-call," said Habib and then a few moments later Kanit called.

Walid Bou Habib: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Mustapha Kanit: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Habib had top two pair for the best hand but Kanit had a gutshot to Broadway. The {4-Diamonds} river confirmed the shorter stack's double-up.
