Noubarian On 100K Despite Small Loss

Majid Ejlal Noubarian opened to 600 from under the gun before Roelef Pepping three-bet to 2,000 from the cutoff.

Noubarian check-raised to 9,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop after Pepping bet 3,200. Pepping called.

The {9-Hearts} turn and {2-Clubs} river then checked through to showdown. Noubarian had the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for top pair, top kicker but Pepping had that pipped with his {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

Kolev Gets a Shove Through

Action was heads up between Boris Kolev and Justin Saliba with 7,400 in the middle and {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} on the board when Boris Kolev shoved his last 7,800 from the small blind. Justin Saliba went deep into the tank.

"I can't believe I'm folding this," said Saliba as he tossed his hand into the muck.

Kolev collected the pot with a smile.

"Flush draw, top pair, I had everything," Saliba continued.

Action was heads up after a flurry of preflop action with over 11,000 in the pot and a board of {8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} when both Jamila von Perger and Sergi Martinez checked to see {6-Diamonds} on the turn.

Martinez check-called a 6,000 bet on the turn and the river was {q-Hearts}.

Martinez checked again and this time Von Perger made it 4,000. He called and she turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} to take the pot with aces and queens. Martinez tossed the losing hand in the muck.

John Mooney opened to 700 from the hijack before Morten Klein made it 2,700 from the cutoff. Mooney called.

Mooney check-called for 3,000 on the {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop before the {a-Clubs} turn and {8-Hearts} river checked through to showdown.

Mooney had the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens but was bested by Klein's {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

The cutoff checked and Mustapha Kanit checked back from the button. The same action took place on the {10-Hearts} river.

Kanit scooped in the pot after his opponent mucked he saw Kanit's {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

Two seats to Kanit's right is Martin Jacobson, who has seen his stack trend in the right direction in the early stages.

Aram Sargsyan had raised to 1,800 from the small blind after Stefan Dimitrov opened from under the gun and he was facing a reraise to 4,300. Sargsyan made it 11,800 before Dimitrov put out a stack of chips to cover him and the rest of it went in. Action was heads up and Sargsyan was at risk for 19,300.
