Chaoui Doubles Through Alilovic

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mehdi Chaoui raised in the cutoff and was three-bet to 140,000 by Miroslav Alilovic on the button.

Chaoui moved all in for 875,000 and Alilovic went into the tank.

Alilovic used a pair of time banks before calling to put Chaoui at risk.

Mehdi Chaoui: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Miroslav Alilovic: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

A race was underway, and after the board came {j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, pairing Chaoui's king on the turn, Alilovic was left with 15 big blinds.

Schultz-Pedersen and Rodrigues Take Featured Table Pots

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Piotr Nurzynski raised to 50,000 with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} before Johan Schultz-Pedersen three-bet to 155,000 with {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} from the small blind. The big blind folded and Nurzynski called to see a flop. The flop was {6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Schultz-Pederson bet 75,000 and Nurzynski gave up the pot.

A few moments later, Manig Loeser raised to 50,000 from late position with {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Schultz-Pedersen called from the cutoff with {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} before Michael Rodrigues came along from the small blind with {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Timo Kamphues called for a good price from the big blind with {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

The flop was {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades} and everyone checked to Schultz-Pedersen, who tossed out 55,000. Rodrigues called and so did Kamphues, but Loeser got out of the way. The turn was {5-Spades}.

All three players checked again and then again when the river was {j-Spades}. Rodrigues turned over the full house and took the pot.

Kicker Trouble Sends Taylor Packing

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Guy Taylor
Guy Taylor

Guy Taylor open-shoved for his last 355,000 in the cutoff and forced two folds. Razvan Belea in the big blind asked for a count and then called a few seconds later.

Guy Taylor: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
Razvan Belea: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop changed nothing and the worries of Taylor continued on the {2-Clubs} turn as it was now certain that the minor kicker advantage would play. There was no mischief on the {8-Spades} river as Taylor became the 37th place finisher, whereas Belea notched up his fourth elimination of the day.

Gaelle Baumann raised to 50,000 and was called by Sven Stok from two seats over, Alex Kulev and Wooseok Kim also called out of the blinds as well.

The {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop was checked to Baumann, who bet 60,000. Only Kulev check-called and then checked again the {6-Clubs} turn after which Baumann's second barrel for 120,000 instantly won the pot.

Lodge Outs Roiter

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Harry Lodge
Harry Lodge

Picking action up on the turn with the board reading {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} Klemens Roiter checked in early position to Harry Lodge who bet 55,000 from late position.

Roiter then check-raised all-in for about 200,000 more and Lodge called.

Klemens Roiter: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Harry Lodge: {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Roiter would need a final heart to fall on the river to make a better flush than Lodge's queen-high version, however, the {q-Spades} fell instead, ending Roiter's day in 38th place.

No Hero-Call by Wilson Boosts Held's Stack

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Konstantin Held raised to 50,000 on the button and he called a three-bet to 225,000 by Daniel Wilson in the small blind.

Wilson continued for 150,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, which led them to the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. Wilson now checked and Held moved forward a bet worth 2,000,000 with the newly introduced black T-100,000 chips. The near instant fold by Wilson followed and Held increased his lead further.

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Mathieu Di Meglio had a raise to 165,000 out in front and Arthur Conan then reraised to 410,000 out of the big blind. It was back on Di Meglio, who sent the cards into the muck.

Sergei Petrushevskii then limped the small blind and Guy Taylor raised to 70,000 from the big blind. The limp-shove by the Russian for 575,000 followed and Taylor asked for a count before folding.
