Conan Goes From Three-Bet to Four-Bet

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Arthur Conan
Arthur Conan

Konstantin Held opened to 100,000 under the gun and got three-bet by Henri Kasper to 260,000 from the hijack.

With action now on Arthur Conan in the cutoff, he tossed a time bank forward needing time for his decision.

After approaching 60 seconds, he decided to four-bet all in for 1,220,000.

Held quickly folded, but Kasper needed to use a time bank of his own. After his own 60 seconds, he opted to fold as well, as Conan added over 500,000 chips to his stack without confrontation.

Belea Chips Up Further

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Razvan Belea raised it up to 100,000 in the cutoff and found a single caller in Arthur Conan out of the big blind. The {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop was checked by Conan, who then called a bet worth 60,000.

Both headed to the {q-Spades} turn on which Conan checked once more. Belea fired a second barrel worth 215,000 and that got rid of his opponent.

Konstantin Held
Konstantin Held

After Konstantin Held raised to 100,000 under the gun, Arthur Conan three-bet to 260,000 from the hijack.

Action folded back to Held who brought the four-bet to 550,000 and an old-school EPT raising battle was in progress.

Conan used a time bank before considering his next move with just under 1,500,000 left behind.

Ultimately Conan decided to fold, ceding the pot to his opponent across the table.

Jorgne Turns a Straight to Double

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Peter Jorgne
Peter Jorgne

Brian Delaney raised to 100,000 from early position and Peter Jorgne three-bet to 350,000 from late position. Harry Lodge made it 850,000 from the small blind and Delaney got out of the way before Jorgne went into the tank. After a few moments of thought, Jorgne called to see a flop.

The flop was {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Spades} and Lodge bet 550,000. Jorgne shoved 1,710,000 and Lodge called.

Peter Jorgne: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Harry Lodge: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Lodge was ahead with two pair, but the turn was {10-Clubs} to give Jorgne the straight. The {j-Clubs} river was a blank for Lodge and Jorgne secured the double.

Small Pot for Kasper With Ace-High

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Henri Kasper raised to 100,000 and was called by Mathieu Di Meglio in the big blind. Once both players checked the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, Di Meglio bet the {7-Hearts} turn for 125,000 and Kasper called. The {5-Clubs} on the river was checked and Di Meglio showed a king-high, which Kasper had beat holding {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} for ace-high.

Malo Latinois Eliminated in 16th Place (€49,550)

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Malo Latinois
Malo Latinois

With a two-table redraw on the horizon following with the elimination of Frederik Brink on the feature table, another potential elimination was brewing at the outer table.

After Arthur Conan raised to 100,000 under the gun, Malo Latinois moved all in for 755,000 in the cutoff. Harry Lodge then called that bet in the small blind and Conan folded.

Malo Latinois: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Harry Lodge: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop paired both players, but the {j-Hearts} on the turn and {k-Clubs} on the river brought no further help to Latinois, who fell in 16th place as the final 15 players are shuffled around to the last two tables.

Frederik Brink Eliminated in 17th Place (€49,550)

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Frederik Brink
Frederik Brink

Johan Schultz-Pedersen raised from under the gun and Frederik Brink called out of the big blind, which led to the {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop. Brink opted to check-call a bet of 175,000 and the {3-Diamonds} followed on the turn.

Another check by Brink let to a second barrel worth 200,000 of Schultz-Pedersen with his fellow countryman coming along. The {6-Diamonds} river then paired the board and completed a potential flush draw.

Brink checked the third street in a row for Schultz-Pedersen to move all in with the superior stack. With some 1.5 million behind, Brink immediately spread his time bank extensions in front of the stack and used three of them eventually before he made the call.

Schultz-Pedersen rolled over the {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Brink nodded, then exposed his {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} before heading to the payout desk.

The remaining 16 players will redraw for seats at the final two tables.
