Manig Loeser Eliminated in 18th Place (€43,100)

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Manig Loeser
Manig Loeser

Following a raise to 100,000 by Razvan Belea on the button, Manig Loeser three-bet all in for approximately 700,000 and was called by Belea.

Manig Loeser: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Razvan Belea: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The 2019 EPT Monte Carlo Main Event champ would need some help if he was to survive and it started coming with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop, adding a gutshot draw to Broadway to his potential outs.

The {3-Diamonds} on the turn gave him an added flush draw, but it may have been the old adage of 'too many outs', as the {9-Spades} fell on the river, bringing Loeser no further help and sending him to the rail in 18th place.

Astedt Takes From Held

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Niklas Astedt raised to 100,000 from the cutoff with {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Brian Delaney called from the small blind with {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} before Konstantin Held called with {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} from the big blind.

The flop was {5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and action checked to Astedt for a 90,000 bet. Held raised to 310,000 and Astedt called to see {4-Diamonds}.

Held bet 460,000 on the turn and Astedt called for a {10-Spades} on the river. Held check-folded fast when Astedt jammed and Astedy took down the big pot.

Two Pocket Pairs Play a Small Pot

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Saar Wilf raised to 105,000 in the cutoff and received a call from Frederik Brink in the small blind.

The {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop was checked by Brink, who then called a bet worth 55,000. No betting action followed on the {7-Hearts} turn and {4-Spades} river as Brink exposed the {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Wilf held the superior pair in {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} to win the pot.

More for Schultz-Pedersen and Chaoui

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Without showdown, Johan Schultz-Pedersen and Mehdi Chaoui increased their stacks on the outer tables.

Razvan Belea defended the big blind in the latest hand versus Schultz-Pedersen to then check-fold the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop when Schultz-Pedersen bet 55,000.

Chaoui three-bet to 240,000 on the button and initial raiser Mathieu Di Meglio came along, then checked the {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop. That resulted in a bet worth 175,000 by Chaoui and Di Meglio quickly folded.

Latinois Doubles Through Conan

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After Arthur Conan raised to 110,000 on the button, Malo Latinois three-bet to 350,000 from the big blind, leaving himself 10,000 behind. Conan then moved all in.

Latinois flicked forward a couple of time banks before he tossed in his last two chips to put himself at risk.

Malo Latinois: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Arthur Conan: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The flop brought Latinois immediate help, coming {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, pairing his king.

The {5-Spades}{k-Clubs} runout gave him a full house on the river to send him to dinner break with a double up.
