Kveladze Has the Worst Pocket Pair, Triples Anyway

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Lado Kveladze moved all in for 300,000 in the big blind and was called by both Ricardo Dell Acquila under the gun and Robin Ylitalo in the cutoff.

Dell Acquila and Ylitalo checked down the Q6342 board and Kveladze showed 66 for a set. Dell Acquila tossed two tens into the muck, while Ylitalo did the same with a pair of jacks as Kveladze tripled up.

Madar Applying Pressure

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kevin Madar opened to 75,000 from middle position and David Xarau called on the button.

The two went heads-up to a flop of AQ7. Madar led for 75,000 and Xarau quickly put in the call.

The turn brought the 5. Madar did not slow down as he continued for 150,000, which Xarau called after some deliberation.

The 4 peeled off on the river. WIthout hesitation, Madar snap-jammed as the covering stack to put Xarau at risk for 445,000. Xarau tanked for around three minutes before he finally found the fold and conceded a sizeable pot to Madar.

Pedersen Wins Classic Race to Bust Macori

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Helge Pedersen opened to 60,000 from middle position and just behind him, Federico Macori shoved for his last 400,000. Action folded back around to Pedersen, who quickly called to put Macori at risk.

Federico Macori: QQAll in
Helge Pedersen: AK

The AJ9 flop vaulted Pedersen into the lead with a pair of aces and the 27 turn and river changed nothing — awarding the rest of Macori's chips to Pedersen.

Maiorano Can't Bet Out Reard

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Alexandre Reard
Alexandre Reard

Maurizio Maiorano limped in from under the gun before Alexandre Reard raised to 130,000 in early position. The table folded back to Maiorano and he called to see a A96 flop.

Reard continued for 75,000 and Maiorano called. Both players checked the 3 turn.

The A fell on the river and Maiorano led out for 150,000. Reard snap-called and Maiorano turned over Q10 for a missed flush draw. Reard had A7 for trips as he took down the pot.

Gotuzzo Finds Great Call to Bust Farkas

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Peter Farkas opened to 60,000 from middle position and then called when Hugo Gotuzzo three-bet to 225,000 from the cutoff.

On the 1094 flop, Farkas checked to Gotuzzo who continued for 150,000. Instantly, Farkas responded with an all-in raise for exactly 750,000, which sent Gotuzzo deep into the tank.

After over four minutes of thinking, Gotuzzo made the call to put Farkas at risk.

Peter Farkas: QJ All in
Hugo Gotuzzo: AQ

Gotuzzo found the correct call with just ace-queen-high against the open-ender of Farkas. The board ran out 47 and Farkas did not make his straight as he hit the rail.

Stephen Song
Stephen Song

At some point, Stephen Song had lost a big pot and was left with just 90,000 after climbing to nearly a million in chips earlier today.

However, in a recent hand, Henadzi Deilik opened to 60,000 from the hijack and Anthony Apicella three-bet to 150,000 from the cutoff. Song called all in from the big blind and Deilik went all in for 580,000 total. Apicella let his hand go and a showdown between Song and Deilik was held.

"I hope you have ace-king!" Song said before hands were revealed.

Stephen Song: 106All in
Henadzi Deilik: AQ

Song was happy to see both his cards were live and the 10J2 put Song in the lead with a pair of tens.

The 4 turn and 2 river kept Song ahead and he scored a much-needed triple up while Deilik collected the side pot.
