Chung, Veloson Play a Massive Flip
Level 16
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel Veloson had his last 250,000 in the pot from middle position as Timothy Chung put him at risk under the gun.
Daniel Veloson: 9♥9♦
Timothy Chung: A♠K♠
Veloson was flipping for his tournament life with more than 500,000 at stake, but Chung spiked two pair on the A♥2♦2♥ flop to take the lead. The rest of the board ran out 6♦4♠ and Chung took the massive pot to send Veloson to the rail.
