Angelov Gets Kings Again; Van Luijk Takes Down Two

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

The hand after busting Niclas Thumm, Boris Angelov again looked down at KK and raised to 400,000 in the cutoff. He got no action this time and won the pot uncontested.

Action then folded to Derk van Luijk on the button who moved all in. "Just one king. Not good enough," Jonathan Pastore said as he folded K4 in the big blind for his last 1,650,000, while Van Luijk took the pot with A10.

Van Luijk again raised a few hands later, making it 450,000 from under the gun with KQ. The rest of the table folded and Van Luijk took another round of blinds and antes.

Jonathan Pastore

Boris Angelov opened to 500,000 from under the gun. Jonathan Pastore defended his big blind out of his short stack.

On the 1095 flop, Pastore check-called for his tournament life after Angelov put him all in for his last 1,300,000.

Jonathan Pastore: 108All in
Boris Angelov: QJ

Pastore's top pair was ahead, while Angelov had an open-ender to go along with his overcards.

The 7 turn kept the Frenchman ahead but the Q river gave Angelov a superior pair to secure his third knockout of the day.
