Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Sergio Aguero
Sergio Aguero

Defending champion Mike Watson raised to 3,500 and Sergio Aguero called in the cutoff, as did Mohamed Zamiti on the button and big blind Rania Nasreddine.

The flop came J106 and action checked to Aguero who bet 4,500. Only Zamiti called.

Both players checked the 3 turn. The river was the 8 and Aguero bet 13,000. Zamiti quickly folded and the Argentinian soccer superstar took down the pot as players headed off on break.

Lehmanski Doubles Up With Set on River

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Maxi Lehmanski
Maxi Lehmanski

Ramon Miquel raised to 3,000 from early position, Ehsan Amiri three-bet to 12,000 from late position, then Maximilian Lehmanski moved all in from the big blind for around 58,000. Miquel moved all in over the top with the bigger stack and Amiri folded to leave two players to flip their cards.

Maximilian Lehmanski: KK All in
Ramon Miquel: AK

The board ran out Q59AK. Miquel paired his ace on the turn to pull ahead, but the river gave Lehmanski a set of kings. He won the pot and doubled up his stack.

Calderone Fills Up on the River For a Massive Pot

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Eros Calderone
Eros Calderone

Three-handed on the turn with the board showing 4AA3, Alan Ferraro bet 13,500 from the button and only Eros Calderone called in the small blind.

The river was the 7 and Ferraro bet 33,500. Calderone then slid forward a stack of blue T-25,000 chips for a raise to 100,000.

Ferraro tanked for a minute before calling and Calderone turned over A7 for a rivered full house. Ferraro mucked and Calderone dragged in the massive pot to eclipse the 400,000 mark.

Aces vs Kings vs Queens

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Fabrice Bigot
Fabrice Bigot

A huge set-up just took place in the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event that saw a showdown between aces, kings and queens.

Valentino Konakchiev opened the action off his short stack from under the gun before Fabrice Bigot put in a three-bet to 7,000. Karo Nuri four-bet to 27,000 from the small blind, and Konakchiev called off for his tournament life for the same amount. Bigot then jammed as the big stack and Nuri, who had around 155,000, also called to set up a massive pot.

Valentino Konakchiev: AA All in
Karo Nuri: QQ All in
Fabrice Bigot: KK

Konakchiev was the favorite to triple while Bigot had the chance to claim the much bigger side pot.

The QJ8 flop saw Nuri hit his two-outer to take the lead, but the K turn put Bigot out in front with a higher set. The 8 river left Bigot as the winner as he took in both main and side pots just before the break.

Thumm Sends Höfler to the Rail

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Niclas Thumm opened from the button with a raise to 4,000 and Mario Höfler, in the big blind with only 16,000 left, made the call.

The J10Q flop appeared promising and lived up to expectations as Thumm bet 5,000 and Höfler check-shoved all in his last 11,000. Thumm called, and they went to showdown.

Mario Höfler: Q9 All in
Niclas Thumm: KQ

With little left to help Höfler, the 4 turn and the A river confirmed his fate, sending him to the rail.

Martirosyan and Hennen Battle it Out on Turn

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Action was on the turn on a board of 41069. Vahe Martirosyan led out and Rutger Hennen raised to 28,000. Martirosyan then reraised to 55,000 and Hennen went into the tank. Floor was called, but when they arrived Hennen put his chips in to match the raise.

The river was the 6. Martirosyan led with a tiny blocking bet of 2,500 and this time Hennen didn't have much in the way of a decision. He quickly called. Martirosyan showed 88 while Hennen flipped over A10 for a pair of tens to win the pot.
