Vieira Takes Some Time

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu and Joao Vieira were battling blind-on-blind on a completed board of 442105. Kisacikoglu sat in the small blind and made a pot-sized bet of 58,500, leaving himself just one T-500 chip behind.

Vieira asked for a count and spent some minutes in the tank before eventually forfeiting his cards to the dealer, seeing Kisacikoglu chip back up to above a starting stack.

Jakob Miegel raised to 4,000 from early position, after which Daisuke Ogita three-bet to 9,500. The action then folded to Morgan Lemonnier in the big blind, who reraised to 26,000.

Miegel quickly got out of the way, but Ogita stuck around with a call. The 455 flop was spread, on which Lemonnier fiddled some with his chips before deciding to put them all in.

Ogita asked for a count, and after he heard the total was 72,000, he stuck in a call to put his opponent at risk.

Morgan Lemonnier: AK
Daisuke Ogita: KQ

Lemonnier still had the best hand, but the J turn saw Ogita hit his flush. No fourth heart came on the board on the 7 river, spelling the end for Lemonnier's first bullet.

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On a completed board of Q97K2, Marcelo Bonanata checked from the big blind to Boris Kolev in early position. Kolev made a bet of 30,000 chips, almost twice the size of the pot.

Bonanata spent a while in the tank before coming up with a call. Kolev tabled Q10 for a rivered flush, and Bonanata's hand was added to the muck as Kolev shipped the pot.

Daisuke Ogita and Yauheni Tsiareshchanka were heads up on a turn of 5Q65. Ogita sat in the big blind and made a bet of 14,000 into the pot of 25,000 chips. Tsiareshchanka put in the call and the two went off to the 7 river.

Ogita threw 29,500 more in the middle, around half the stack of Tsiareshchanka. Tsiareshchanka thought it over for a good while before tossing in a calling chip, after which Ogita tabled AK for the nut flush.

Tsiareshchanka could not beat that hand as his cards disappeared in the muck, leaving him with 20 big blinds.
