Juncker Spikes the River to Double Through Glogar

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Alexander Glogar shoved from the small blind, which was enough to put Henrik Juncker all in for his last 975,000. Juncker pondered a bit, but eventually decided to commit his stack into the middle.

Henrik Juncker: Q8
Alexander Glogar: K7

“Wow,” Glogar said upon seeing what Juncker had called with.

Gloar had a slight lead with his king, but the 36678 runout paired Juncker’s eight on the river for the double up.

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Alexander Glogar
Alexander Glogar

Omar Del Pino opened to 400,000 from the button and the short-stacked Alex Glogar shipped his stack of 825,000 into the middle from the small blind. Del Pino made the quick call.

Alex Glogar: 99
Omar Del Pino: 1010

Del Pino was crushing Glogar with an overpair but the 10KJ flop brought Glogar extra outs despite his opponent flopping bottom set.

Sure enough the Q rolled off on the turn to give Glogar the straight and a lifeline for the tournament. The river was 4 to complete the board.

Lonis Drops Under a Million

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Jesse Lonis just moved all in for 1,275,000 from the big blind and was called by Yunsheng Sun, but both players turned over king-queen and ended up chopping the pot.

A few hands later, Sun raised to 400,000 on the button and Lonis called in the big blind. The flop came J6A and Sun continued for 200,000. Lonis quickly folded, dropping his stack under 1,000,000 and in the danger zone.

Jesse Lonis: A6
Yungsheng Sun: A8

Lonis was in trouble with a dominated ace and the 5103710 runout gave Sun an eight-high flush, sending Lonis to the exit.

Assouline Cracks Franco's Set on the River

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Dann Assouline had half his stack of 400,000 committed from the big blind as Sonny Franco moved all in from the hijack to force out the rest of the table. Assouline put in his last chips.

Dann Assouline: K7
Sonny Franco: 1010

The Q3J flop kept Franco in the lead, while the 10 turn improved him to a set and left Assouline in danger of elimination. The river, though, was the 9 and Assouline made a straight to double up.

Juncker Doubles Through Talbot

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Henrik Juncker shoved for his last 1,600,000 from the small blind and Parker Talbot snap-called from the big blind to put Juncker at risk.

Henrik Juncker: K3
Parker Talbot: 66

Talbot had the best of it with his pair, but the 7KQ flop paired Juncker’s kings and left Talbot drawing slim.

The 9 turn and 4 river changed nothing and Juncker was awarded the double up.

Sonny Franco opened to 400,000 and Dann Assouline moved his remaining 500,000 chips into the middle from the small blind.

Yungsheng Sun called in the big blind as did Franco.

Franco continued on the 665 flop with a bet of 500,000 which earnt a swift fold from Sun.

Dann Assouline: K9
Sonny Franco: A7

Assouline was behind and the 4 turn was also a brick, however the K rolled off on the river to give him a pair of kings and keep Assouline in it.

Glogar's Turn to Double

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Alexander Glogar
Alexander Glogar

Action folded to Henrik Juncker in the small blind who moved all in for 3,000,000. Parker Talbot was in the big blind and tanked for a minute before folding.

"King-ten," Omar Del Pino asked him and Talbot shook his head. "Better," Del Pino added.

"Tight is right," Talbot responded.

Alexander Glogar then moved all in for 550,000 as action went on Michel Leibgorin in the big blind. "I think I'm committed," Leibgorin said before calling.

Alexander Glogar: A9
Michel Leibgorin: K6

Glogar paired his nine on the Q910 flop and dodged Leibgorin's straight draw on the 4 turn and 2 river to double up.

"Alright, let's gamble," Glogar said as he shoved again the next hand for 1,400,000. Charles Whitehouse gave it some thought in the big blind, also with 1,400,000, before folding as Glogar added even more chips.
