In the final hand of the previous level, Timothy Adams raised to 5,500 from the hijack before Chris Brewer put in 15,000 chips from the button. Adams made the call and the two saw a flop of A♦3♠Q♥.

Adams check-called the 9,000-chip bet of Brewer before he did the same for the 15,000 chips Brewer put out on the 2♣ turn.

The 6♥ river then went check-check, and Brewer's A♠5♥ for top pair beat Adams' K♠Q♣ for middle pair at showdown.

Sam Greenwood raised to 6,000 from under the gun, which Guillaume Nolet bumped up to 18,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Greenwood, who made it 46,000 to go.

Still not enough for Nolet, who put it all in. A snap call followed from Greenwood, who put his stack of 162,500 at risk in the process.

Greenwood needed an ace to stay alive, but it did not come when the board ran out 8♦3♠2♦5♣6♦. He headed to the exit while Nolet stacked up even more chips.

Ruijs made a bet of 22,000 in response, and a quick fold followed from Kisacikoglu, forfeiting the pot.

Soon after busting Ben Heath, Guillaume Nolet went heads-up with Stephen Chidwick to the river on a board of 10♠10♣6♥3♣7♥ with 35,500 in the pot.

Nolet bet 12,000 from the big blind and Chidwick raised to 54,000 on the button, which represented most of his stack. Nolet then moved all in and Chidwick used a time bank before calling.

Nolet turned over 7♦7♠ for a rivered full house and Chidwick stood up from his seat and mucked his hand. The dealer retrieved his K♥K♦ as Chidwick, yesterday's €25,000 champion, headed for the exit.
