Boivin Raises Hissou on the River

Heads-up on a flop of 2KQ, Sirzat Hissou led out for 13,000 in the big blind and Thomas Boivin called in early position.

Both players checked the 8 turn and the K fell on the river. Hissou then bet another 16,000.

Boivin came back with a raise to 51,000 and Hissou tanked for a minute before folding.

Heads-up on a board of 2Q9J and around 30,000 in the pot, Artur Martirosian bet 25,000 from the cutoff and Santhosh Suvarna called in the big blind.

The river was the A and Martirosian moved all in. Suvarna used a time bank before committing his last 70,000. Martirosian turned over K10 for the straight and Suvarna quickly sent his cards into the muck on his way to the exit.

Sam Grafton, already on his second bullet, was eliminated at this table a few hands earlier to officially end his tournament.

Dvoress Picks Off Mateos, Takes Even More From Martirosian

Grafton Comes From Behind to Bust Ladev

Kazuhiko Yotsushika raised to 4,000 in the cutoff before Sam Grafton three-bet to 12,000 on the button. Markkos Ladev then moved all in for around 40,000 in the big blind, Yotsushika folded, while Grafton called.

Ladev had Grafton dominated and was poised for a double up as the flop came J97, giving Grafton a straight draw. The 9 fell on the turn, while the 10 river gave Grafton two pair to send Ladev to the exit.

"The skill part of the game," Grafton said as he took the pot.

Nikita Kuznetsov has reentered, while Niklas Astedt was also recently eliminated and quickly fired a second bullet.

Greenwood Holds On to Bust Kuznetsov

Heads-up on a flop of 94A, Nikita Kuznetsov got around 60,000 in the middle from early position and was up against Sam Greenwood on the button.
