Iaculli Eliminates Melsom, Joins Chip Leaders

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A big pot had developed between Gianfranco Iaculli and Erlend Melsom on a board of AK862. There were around 35,000 chips in the pot when Iaculli shoved the river with his big stack, which gave Melsom a decision for his remaining 32,000.

Melsom didn't need too much time to think it over and dropped his whole stack into the pot after around fifteen seconds. Iaculli then showed a set with 88, and Melsom's AQ was revealed and then mucked.

Iaculli now has around 170,000, and is certainly one of the chip leaders as the dinner break approaches.
