Labat Can't Win the Flip

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Antoine Labat
Antoine Labat

Ryan Plant raised to 1,600 from early position, and Samuel Ju called from the button. Antoine Labat was next to act and moved all in for 8,800. Plant shoved as well and Ju folded.

Antoine Labat: AQ All in
Ryan Plant: 44

Labat needed to connect with the board to stay in the tournament, but the 482 flop left him drawing really thin. The 8 on the turn gave Plant a full house, and the J on the river sealed the deal. Plant scooped the pot, eliminating Labat from the tournament.

Pichierri Flops Quads Against a Full House

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Alessandro Pichierri
Alessandro Pichierri

Dimitrios Nanos raised to 1,600 from middle position, Alessandro Pichierri three-bet to 5,500, from the cutoff, and Nanos called.

The JJ6 flop saw Nanos check and then call a bet of 3,000 from Pichierri.

The 10 turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Pichierri sized up to 10,500.

The 2 river prompted a third check from Nanos. Pichierri bet out 35,000 and Nanos moved all in for just under 49,000. Pichierri, the covering stack, snap-called.

Dimitrios Nanos: 66 All in
Alessandro Pichierri: JJ

Nanos thought he'd found a dream flop, making a full house, but Pichierri held quads to send him to the rail in this sick cooler.

Camosci Rivers Flush, Eliminates El Yaacoubi

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Rachid El Yaacoubi
Rachid El Yaacoubi

Rachid El Yaacoubi raised to 1,600 from under the gun, Bela Ignasz three-bet to 4,500 from the hijack, then Enrico Camosci four-bet to 10,500. El Yaacoubi then pushed all in for 21,000, which sent Ignasz deep into the tank. The floor were called and Ignasz eventually folded.

Camosci was already pot committed, shrugged and put his chips in the middle to put El Yaacoubi at risk.

Rachid El Yaacoubi: AK All in
Enrico Camosci: AJ

"I think I have one out," said Camosci. "You had a jack, right?" he said to Ignasz.

From one out to many, the flop came K68 to give Camosci a flush draw and El Yaacoubi a pair of kings. The turn was a blank, the Q, but the river came the 7 to complete Camosci's flush. He won the pot and El Yaacoubi was sent to the rail.

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Michael Sklenicka
Michael Sklenicka

Michael Sklenicka open-raised to 1,700, Felix Schneiders called on the button, then Burim Mahmudi three-bet to 1,700 from the big blind. Sklenicka and Schneiders both called and three players went to the flop.

The flop ran out QJK and Mahmudi continued for 5,000. Sklenicka raised it up to 17,600, Schneiders folded and Mahmudi made the call.

On the A turn, Mahmudi checked and Sklenicka pushed forward a bet of 31,000, which was more than half of his stack. Mahmudi called and left himself a little over 10,000.

The river came the 2 and the rest of Mahmudi's chips went in the middle as he bet and Sklenicka moved all in. Mahmudi had AK for two pair, but Sklenicka turned over 109 for the nut straight to win the pot.

Sklenicka chipped up to nearly 150,000 and Mahmudi was eliminated from the tournament.

Hajdari’s Straight Sends Schulze Packing

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

PokerNews caught the action with the pot at approximately 14,800 and the board showing 78392. Sebastian Schulze, first to act, checked to Fehim Hajdari.

After a brief pause to consider his options, Hajdari moved all in, putting Schulze to the test. Schulze went into the tank for about three minutes before ultimately deciding to risk it all and called.

Schulze revealed A3x for a modest pair of threes, but Hajdari confidently turned over J10 for a dominating straight, sending Schulze to the rail and adding a solid pot to his stack.

Palevic Peels a Miracle Turn

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Rifat Palevic moved all in for 3,100 from early position, Koyes Miah called on the button and Simone Demasi, in the big blind, three-bet to 7,200. Miah called.

With action on the side, the dealer spread the J710 flop. Demasi put Miah all in for his effective stack of 16,200.

"Gamble!" announced Miah as he called off the bet for his tournament life.

Rifat Palevic: 55 All in
Koyes Miah: K9 All in
Simone Demasi: AA

Demasi was in a commanding lead until the 5 turn spiked to give Palevic a set. The 3 river bricked out for Miah's straight and flush draw and Demasi's aces held for a large size pot, eliming Miah. Palevic more than tripled up.

Espen Jorstad raised to 1,400 on the button and was called by Thomas Hueber in the small blind. David Hu then shoved for a bit over 10,000 from the big blind and Jorstad shoved as well for more. Hueber got out of the way and a showdown was held.

David Hu: AJAll in
Espen Jorstad: KK

Hu would need some help, but the 10666K runout needlessly improved Jorstad to a full house for the knockout.

Peluso Calls Lijo's Turn Shove, Runs Into Kings

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Fabio Peluso
Fabio Peluso

Lander Lijo raised to 1,200 from middle position and picked up a call before Fabio Peluso three-bet to 5,000 from the button. It was back on Lijo and he put in a four-bet to 11,800, which only Peluso called.

The flop came 5910 and Lijo continued with a bet of 6,700. Peluso called and the hand went to the turn.

On the 3 turn, Lijo moved all in for the rest of his opponent's stack. Peluso counted out his own chips and went deep into the tank. Cristian Veres, sitting in seat four, had eaten nearly a full bowl of pistachios before Peluso made the call.

Peluso had JJ for a pair of jacks, but Lijo turned over KK for a pair of kings. The river was a blank, the 7, so Lijo held to win the pot, eliminating Peluso from the tournament.

Ouertani Busts in Three-Way Pot

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Wissam Ouertani was already all-in for around 4,000 and was competing for the main pot of around 13,000 on the 1034A board. There was a side pot of 10,000 between Patrik Jaros and Isabella Lemoscosta, which didn't get added to on the turn as both checked.

When the A completed the board, Lemoscosta checked and Jaros fired 10,000 from the button. After a short time thinking, Lemoscosta called.

Jaros showed QQ, Ouertani tabled 107, and Lemoscosta flipped 88. In the end, Jaros won both pots with his pocket queens, which meant Ouertani was eliminated.
