Elamawy Snaps Off O'Dwyer
Level 11
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Sameh Elamawy opened the cutoff to 20,000 and Steve O'Dwyer called from the button. Thomas Muehloecker also called in the big blind.
The flop came J♠K♣8♦ and when it got to Elamawy, he fired 15,000. O'Dwyer called, and Muehloecker let his cards go.
Both players checked the 2♣ turn and when the 4♥ hit the river, Elamawy checked again. O'Dwyer then fired a bet of 55,000, and before his chips had even settled in the pot, Elamawy called.
O'Dwyer showed A♥10♥ for a bluff, and Elamawy took it down holding a pair of jacks with Q♥J♣.
