Lozano Moves Over Ten Million; Ionita Wins With the Worst Hand in Poker

Ionita checked the 3♣8♣Q♣ flop, and Lozano bet 400,000. Ionita quickly folded.

On the next hand, Ionita limped the small blind with 7♥2♥, and Umberto Zaffagnini checked his option holding 7♣7♠ from the big blind.

Two checks followed the 6♠8♠K♣ flop to see the A♥ hit the turn. Ionita bet 400,000, forcing Zaffagnini to fold the best hand.

The 9♠ turn was checked through, and the 3♥ fell on the river. Eychenne then bet 900,000 and Brzezinski snap-called.

Brzezinski check-called a bet of 400,000 by Eychenne on the A♥J♠A♣ flop.

The 8♦ turn checked through for the 6♥ to complete the board. Brzezinski tossed out a bet of 900,000, which Eychenne quickly called. Brzezinski showed a busted straight draw with Q♣10♠ and lost the pot to Eychenne's J♣9♣ for a pair of jacks.

Zaffagnini then bet 300,000 and Ionita called. Both players checked the 7♣ turn.

The river was the 5♥ and Ionita bet 1,800,000. Zaffagnini instantly tossed in a chip to signify a call, and Ionita showed A♣4♦ for two pair. Zaffagnini, though, turned over A♠8♠ and won the pot with his eight-kicker to move into the chip lead.

From under the gun, Thomas Eychenne made it 700,000 with 10♦9♣, and Sebastian Ionita three-bet to 1,700,000 from the cutoff holding A♦10♣. This was enough to get folds from the whole table, and Ionita took some chips from Eychenne.

A few hands later, Eychenne limped from the small blind and Ionita checked his option from the big blind.

The flop of A♠2♠K♠ checked through, as did the 2♣ turn. A board-pairing A♦ hit the river and Eychenne led out for 1,000,000, which Ionita tank-called.

Eychenne showed a bluff with Q♥9♥, and lost the pot to Ionita's K♣J♠ for a pair of kings.
