Niste, Amsellem Fall
Level 18
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alejandro Romero raised to 16,000 in early position, Mihai Niste moved all in for 119,000 in the small blind, and Romero called.
Mihai Niste: A♥Q♥
Alejandro Romero: A♣K♦
Niste found himself dominated and at risk, and the 3♠J♠4♣7♦K♥ board provided no help as Romero ended up with a pair of kings to send Niste to the rail.
At another table, Jacob Amsellem was all in for around 100,000 from middle position and up against Sam Lam in the big blind.
Jacob Amsellem: A♠A♥
Sam Lam: 4♣4♦
Amsellem had picked up aces and was a favorite to double up, but the board brought 8♠6♣5♠3♥7♥ to give Lam a straight on the river as the start-of-day chip leader was eliminated.
