Ganivet's Kings Crushed on Bubble

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Alejandro Ganivet
Alejandro Ganivet

Alejandro Ganivet opened in middle position and got three callers, including Albert Grane in the big blind.

Action checked to Ganivet on the flop of 266 and he continued for 8,000. Grane check-raised to 30,000 and Ganivet called. Grane then bet 20,000 on the 2 turn and Ganivet again called.

The 9 river completed the board and Grane moved all in, putting Ganivet to the test for his remaining 40,000. Ganivet called and waited as hands at other tables played out.

The cards were eventually turned over and Grane showed J6 for a full house to crush the KK of Ganivet, who was one of three players to fall on the money bubble.

"I would've called if I were you," table mate Brock Wilson had said before the cards were revealed.
