Four-Bet Shove Doesn't Work Out For Apicella; Palevic Fills Up on Colillas

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Anthony Apicella
Anthony Apicella

Cesar Garcia raised to 40,000 in middle position and Marc Foggin called in the hijack. Youssef Zereg then three-bet to 185,000 in the cutoff.

Anthony Apicella moved all in for 300,000 in the small blind and both Garcia and Foggin quickly folded, but Zereg snap-called to put Apicella at risk.

Anthony Apicella: AJ All in
Youssef Zereg: AK

Apicella was dominated and needed to improve to stay alive, and the 636 flop gave him outs to a flush. The 5 turn was no help, while the river was the 4 and Zereg's king-kicker secured him the pot and the knockout.

At another table, Ramon Colillas and Rifat Palevic were on the river with the board showing 5AA73. Colillas then bet 60,000 from under the gun and Palevic raised to 330,000 in the hijack.

Colillas took a few minutes before calling, and Palevic turned over 77 for a full house to win the big pot.

Set Over Set for Nielsen

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Thomas Lilamand opened to 40,000 from the button. Georgios Karakousis in the small blind three-bet all-in for 200,000, then Martin Nielsen in the big blind jammed for 590,000. Lilamand seemed tempted but folded.

Julien Sitbon moved all in for 190,000 under the gun, Ferdinando D'Alessio put in a reraise in the hijack, and the rest of the table got out of the way.

At the same time at another table, Thomas Eychenne and Julian Pineda Lozano arrived at the river on a completed board of 83AQ2 with around 200,000 in the pot. Eychenne then bet 85,000 from early position and Pineda Lozano raised to 375,000 in the cutoff.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Yohan Rascar
Yohan Rascar

Heitor Maciel raised from under the gun to 30,000 and Yohan Rascar three-bet to 95,000 from the next seat. Karl Karlsson was on the button and cold four-bet to 250,000, which got Maciel to fold. Rascar then five-bet to 550,000, and after some time, Karlsson shoved 1,340,000. Rascar snap-called.

Karl Karlsson: QQ All in
Yohan Rascar: AA

Karlsson had run into the rockets of Rascar, but there were still five cards to come to try and salvage something. However, there was nothing for Karlsson to work with on the 482 flop, which left just two shots at the two remaining queens.

None of which appeared on the 79 runout, and after the stacks were counted down, Karlsson was eliminated.
