Mantor Wins a Flip; Peral Sticking Around

Tobias Leknes raised the hijack to 30,000 and Didrik Mantor made it 130,000 from the button, leaving himself just 6,000 behind. When it got back to Leknes, he shoved, and Mantor called off his last few chips.

Mantor pulled ahead on the 2♠6♦A♥ flop, but needed to fade a few more outs after Leknes picked up a wheel draw on the 4♠ turn. An A♠ fell on the river, which gave Mantor trips and the double-up.

In the very next hand on the same table, Sergio Peral had his last big blind in the pot and was at risk against Tomasz Brzezinski.

Peral's ace-high held up on the 10♥5♠2♥J♦J♥ runout, which kept him alive, but still with a lot of work to do.

With around 250,000 in the pot on a flop of J♣10♥10♠, Lauri Saaskilahti bet 60,000 from the big blind and Ronnie Lemmens called on the button.

The turn was the 4♠ and Saaskilahti bet another 120,000. Lemmens again called and the 4♥ fell on the river. Saaskilahti then bet 200,000.

Lemmens tanked for more than a minute before calling, and Saaskilahti showed 9♠4♦ for a full house to win the pot.

It's been a great opening level for Lars Tungel, who has grown his stack to around 1,800,000. A chunk of those chips came in a hand against Andre Plaza Marcano.

Tungel opened the button to 25,000 and Marcano flicked in the call from the big blind. They went to a flop of A♣A♥Q♥, where Marcano check-called a bet of 25,000 from Tungel.

Both checked the 7♠ turn to the 10♣ river, where Marcano led for 40,000. Tungel was having none of it and raised to 125,000, which Marcano quickly called.

Tungel then showed that he rivered a straight with K♠J♣, and Marcano binned his cards.

Javier Tazon raised to 25,000 in the cutoff, Karl Karlsson three-bet to 65,000 on the button, and Tazon called.

Both players checked the Q♦Q♥7♠ flop. Karlsson then bet 60,000 on the 3♥ turn and Tazon called.

The river was the Q♣ and Karlsson bet 100,000. Tazon used a few of his time banks before calling once more, and Karlsson showed K♠2♠ for king-high, Tazon turned over A♣J♥ and won the pot with his ace.

A few hands later, Tazon and Karlsson tangled in another pot in the blinds. On a board of 4♠A♣10♥9♦ and around 300,000 in the middle, Karlsson bet 125,000 and Tazon called.

The river was the 2♣ and Tazon min-bet 12,000. Karlsson then raised to 200,000, and this time Tazon eventually tossed his cards away.

At the same time at another table, Mohamed-Said Taghla was all in for 145,000 from early position and up against Sergio Carro Marin in the small blind.
