The 181 remaining players have been sent on their first 15-minute break of the day.
Fredric Gjertsen limped in from early position before Boris Kolev made it 20,000 from the cutoff. Sal Al Fakih called from the big blind and Gjertsen also stuck around.
Kolev contniued for 18,000 on the K♣J♣10♦ flop and folded out his opponents for a small boost before the break.
On a nearby table, Rui Bouquet opened to 12,000 from middle position before Eros Calderone three-bet to 56,000 from the big blind. Bouquet raised to 111,000 leaving 5,000 behind. Calderone jammed as the bigger stack and Bouquet's last chip went into the middle.
Rui Bouquet: 8♣8♦
Eros Calderone: K♦2♣
Calderone picked up two more outs after pairing his deuce on the 10♣7♣2♠ flop, but the bad beat didn't come as the eights held after the 4♠ turn and A♣ river.
Small blind Tudor Zapsa checked the 9♣6♠2♥9♠Q♣ river to Clement Bonnant in the hijack. The duo had created a big pot of 250,000 already, and Bonnant added 102,000 to that figure by moving all in.
Zapsa spent a few minutes in the tank, but eventually let his hand go. The pot was shipped to Bonnant as Zapsa, who started the day second in chips, was left with just over 30 big blinds.
Mateusz Wozniak opened to 12,000 from under the gun. Giuseppe Dedoni and Sebastian Mortensen called from the blinds.
Dedoni led out for 11,000 on the 8♥7♣6♦ flop and only Wozniak called.
Dedoni sized up to 57,000 on the A♣ turn before Wozniak jammed for 188,000.
Dedoni was quite performative in his disgust in the spot. The Italian covered Wozniak, and tanked for several minutes, tutting and grimacing, as he mulled over his options.
Wozniak grew tired of waiting and called for the clock. As soon as the countdown began, Dedoni let go of his hand.
The completed board of 6♠8♥2♦K♣4♠ was already in the middle, along with a pot of 130,000, when Boris Kolev checked from the big blind to Milos Petakovic in the hijack.
Petakovic then announced an all-in bet, covering the 80,000 chips left in Kolev's stack.
Kolev mulled it over for a bit before he called off for his tournament life and tabled Q♣6♣ for middle pair. Petakovic could only table jack-high with J♥10♣, however, and he complimented Kolev's call as he paid his opponent off.
