Chaudey Gets No Time

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was on the turn on a board of 3635 and Giovanni La Padula checked from the small blind. Christopher Chaudey bet 4,300 into a pot of around 11,000 and La Padula check-raised all in, putting his opponent under pressure for the rest of Chaudey's 36,000 chips.

"Sorry, I need a couple of minutes," said Chaudey as he went into the tank.

"TIME ON 22," shouted the dealer as soon as he's said it.

It became clear that La Padula had called time already and so Chaudey got the countdown from the floor. He folded his hand and La Padula scooped the pot.

Ho Takes Pot With River Shove

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Poseidon Ho raised to 2,000 from the cutoff, Atanas Malinov called on the button, and the small blind and big blind both came along.

The flop fell 7710 and Ho continued for 3,500. Only Malinov called to take the action to the turn, which was the Q. Ho led again for 6,000 and Malinov called.

Ho didn't slow down on the K river, instead shoving all in for around 30,000 effective. This proved too much for Malinov, who folded to give Ho the pot.
