Hurwitz Can't Shake Auer

Landi Finds an Ace to Double

Simon Lofberg raised to 600,000 under the gun and Ivan Poroliev called in the big blind.

Lofberg continued for 425,000 on the AJ6 flop and Poroliev called. Both players checked down the Q turn and 8 river, and Poroliev turned over 1010, but Lofberg had A9 for a pair of aces to win the pot.

Adrian Ziemichod then raised to 600,000 under the gun and Matthias Auer called in early position. Amato Landi moved all in for 3,025,000 on the button and Ziemichod folded, but Auer snap-called.

Landi had run into Auer's queens and was looking for an ace to survive. He missed the K46 flop, but the A fell on the turn and his boisterous rail again erupted in celebration.

The 8 came on the river and Landi doubled up yet again.

Action was checked through the 1026 flop and the Q turn to see the K river.

Bogdanov check-raised to 3,350,000 after Hu bet 450,000. Hu called and Bogdanov turned over 75 having rivered the flush.

Hu mucked his hand, and Bogdanov sat back with a near double than average stack.

Poroliev Bets Out Hurwitz; Bogdanov Puts in a Four-Bet

Ben Hurwitz raised to 625,000 in the hijack and Ivan Poroliev called in the big blind.

Both players checked the 827 flop. Poroliev then led out for 400,000 on the 2 turn, and Hurwitz called.

The river was the A and Poroliev bet 2,000,000. Hurwitz quickly folded this time.

A few hands later, Yulian Bogdanov raised to 600,000 in the hijack before Poroliev three-bet to 2,200,000 on the button. Bogdanov then moved all in, and Poroliev snap-folded.

Hu sat back, and then moved all in, covering Prema's remaining stack. Prema snap-called, and was at risk for his tournament life and his last 7,400,000 chips.

Bogdanov Raises Poroliev on the Flop

Simon Lofberg raised to 600,000 in the hijack before Adrian Ziemichod three-bet to 1,700,000 in the cutoff. Lofberg folded, and Ziemichod took down the pot.

Ivan Poroliev then raised to 600,000 in middle position and Yulian Bogdanov called in the big blind.

The flop came 52A and Poroliev continued for 425,000. Bogdanov then raised to 1,200,000, and Poroliev gave up his hand.
