Hu Fills Up to Leave Landi on Fumes

Level 33 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Lulei Hu
Lulei Hu

Amato Landi raised to 600,000 on the button and Lulei Hu announced "One fifty," in the big blind, intending to raise to 1,500,000. The dealer ruled he had to make it 1,050,000, and Landi called.

The flop came A82 and Hu checked to Landi who bet 1,400,000. Hu then announced a raise, and Landi didn't even wait for him to put the chips in before moving all in. Hu snap-called.

Lulei Hu: A8 All in
Amato Landi: A10

Landi had flopped top pair, but Hu had two pair and the 8 turn improved him to a full house. The river was the 3 and Hu secured the pot. The stacks were counted down and Landi had Hu's 6,200,000 covered by 500,000.

Landi moved all in from the cutoff the next hand, and Simon Lofberg reraised to 1,100,000 on the button to chase away the rest of the table.

Amato Landi: AJ All in
Simon Lofberg: QQ

Landi needed an ace to survive, and he found one on the A24 flop to take the lead. The rest of the board ran out 610 and he doubled up.

Adrian Ziemichod raised to 500,000 in the cutoff and was called by Matthias Auer and Jerome Besselievre in the blinds.

The flop came A88 and Ziemichod bet 500,000. Auer folded, but Besselievre raised to 1,600,000. Ziemichod called, and they saw the 4 fall on the turn.

The 2025 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague festival is in full swing, with more than a dozen tournaments already crowning their champions. Finland's Kai Lehto is among those winners, having triumphed in the monster-sized €825 PokerStars Open Cup for €162,000, which happens to be the second-largest live score of his career.

Including re-entries, the €825 PokerStars Open Cup attracted a bumper field of 2,140, creating an impressive €1,540,800 prize pool. The top 321 finishers shared that princely sum, with such luminaries as Vincent Meli, Simon Higgins, and Pavels Spirins seeing a return on their investments.

Prema Bombs the River on Lofberg

Level 33 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 4K10, Rama Prema bet 350,000 from the button and Simon Lofberg called in the big blind.

The turn was the K and Prema bet 1,400,000. Lofberg again called, and the Q fell on the river. Prema then bet 4,100,000, leaving himself 500,000 behind.

Tournament officials instructed the other table to stop action, and the players gathered around this table to watch as Lofberg went deep into the tank. Nearly five minutes went by before he slid his cards into the muck, and Prema took the pot.
