Andrei Birgaoanu shoved in his stack of 65,000 from middle position, and Felix Weis looked him up on the button.
Andrei Birgaoanu: 8♥8♦
Felix Weis: J♥J♦
It seemed all over for Birgaoanu after the 7♦Q♥9♠ flop, but the 8♣ turn provided him with a set for a huge lead. The Q♣ river was of no use to Weis, who cut out the required chips from his stack.
Diego Montone limped in the hijack, followed by Burim Mahmudi on the button. Barak Wisbrod in the small blind raised to 32,000. When the action reached Vito Vella, he took his time before shoving all in, prompting Montone and Mahmudi to fold. Wisbrod asked the dealer for a count, and once it was confirmed at 170,000, he made the call.
Vito Vella: K♠Q♠
Barak Wisbrod: A♠J♦
The flop came 10♥8♦9♥, giving both players a straight draw. The 5♠ turn changed nothing, but the J♣ river completed the straight for Vella, sending him to a full double-up.
Felix Weis opened to 16,000 from middle position and Elias Suhonen moved all in from the hijack for 120,000. Action folded to Andrei Birgaoanu in the big blind, who re-jammed for 189,000.
Weis started his gesture to fold but hadn't let go of his cards, and Suhonen flipped over his 6♣6♠. The floor was called, and they ruled that the action should continue as it stands, with Weis then asking for a count of Birgaoanu's stack.
With Weis still opting to push his cards into the muck, the players went heads-up to showdown, and Birgaoanu flipped over his hand.
Elias Suhonen: 6♣6♠
Andrei Birgaoanu: A♥Q♥
Suhonen saw a six come in on the J♥5♦6♦ flop. The A♣ turn and 8♣ river wasn't enough to change things, and Suhonen saw his stack double.
Gianfranco Iaculli raised to 16,000 in middle position, Eyal Maaravi three-bet to 40,000 in the cutoff, and Iaculli called.
The flop came 7♥7♠K♣ and Maaravi continued for 23,000. Iaculli called, and the A♦ fell on the turn.
Maaravi then bet 62,000 and Iaculli again called. The river was the Q♣ and Iaculli led out for 180,000. Maaravi used up a time bank, but he ended up folding as Iaculli raked in the pot.
Marc Foggin and Chady Ojeil were battling over another pot, this one worth 175,000 as they reached the 2♣J♥K♥6♠ turn. Foggin checked from middle position, and Ojeil followed suit in the hijack.
The 9♣ river made Foggin bet 75,000. Ojeil announced a raise to 175,000, which Foggin called after spending a time bank.
Ojeil revealed A♠K♣ for top pair, prompting Foggin to tap the table and muck his cards in defeat.
Roman Stoica was on the button with a raise of 50,000 in front of him before Marius Kudzmanas reraised to 95,000 in early position. Ioannis Panagiotopoulos then moved all in for 350,000 in the cutoff, Stoica also stuck in his last 265,000, and Kudzmanas snap-called to a round of "wows" from the rest of the table.
Roman Stoica: A♠A♦
Ioannis Panagiotopoulos: 10♦10♣
Marius Kudzmanas: A♣A♥
Both Stoica and Kudzmanas showed down two aces, leaving Panagiotopoulos needing help to survive. The board ran out 4♣4♥Q♣8♦2♣ and they chopped up the main pot, while Kudzmanas took the side pot to send Panagiotopoulos to the rail.
"Why can't you have kings one time?" Stoica asked Kudzmanas after the dramatic encounter.
Maria Lampropulos raised to 16,000 in the hijack, Rohan Oberoi three-bet to 48,000 on the button, and Lampropulos called.
The flop came A♥9♣5♦ and Oberoi bet 40,000. Lampropulos called.
Both players checked down the 6♣ turn and 9♠ river, and Lampropulos showed A♠K♠. Oberoi mucked A♦4♠.
Marc Foggin and Chady Ojeil had collected 62,000 chips in the blinds. Foggin check-called Ojeil's bets of 15,000 on the 7♦A♦6♣ flop, and 32,000 on the K♠ turn.
The players checked the 6♥ river to showdown, where Foggin's A♥4♠ won him the pot.
Oleg Vasylchenko was already forced all-in for his last few chips in the big blind, and he was up against Eyal Maaravi in the hijack.
The cards were on their backs and Vasylchenko stood to watch the runout.
Oleg Vasylchenko: 9♥4♣
Eyal Maaravi: A♠8♦
Vasylchenko saw a glimmer of hope as a four came in the window, but that soon faded after the dealer fanned the rest of the 2♠A♦4♦ flop.
The Q♠ turn and 5♥ river saw to his elimination, and Maaravi collected his chips.
