Ragone flopped some backdoors on 3A5, but the 2 turn left him drawing to a chop. The 10 river did not bring a wheel on the board, eliminating Ragone in tenth as the bubble boy of the unofficial final table.

The remaining nine players are going on a 20-minute break before the final table begins.

Gkatzas First to Show Aces; Kurtulus Hits the River on Cech

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ding Fan raised to 160,000 on the button, Bora Kurtulus three-bet to 580,000 in the big blind, and Fan quickly folded.

Dimitrios Gkatzas then raised to 160,000 under the gun and received no callers. He tossed AA into the middle of the table as he took the pot.

"I was lucky I had no hand. I haven't seen that hand today," Fan said.

The next hand, Conor O'Driscoll raised to 160,000 on the button and took the blinds and ante, showing 99.

Vitezslav Cech then raised to 160,000 under the gun and Kurtulus called in the big blind.

Cech continued for 125,000 on the 747 flop, and Kurtulus called. Cech bet another 320,000 on the 5 turn, and Kurtulus again called.

The A river was checked down, and Kurtulus showed A3 for a rivered two pair. Cech gave him a puzzled look and wagged his finger at him while he mucked 99.
