Sebastian Malec Eliminated in 21st Place (€40,050)
Level 25
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Matas Cimbolas raised to 80,000 on the button, and Sebastian Malec called in the big blind.
On a 10♦J♠J♣ flop, Malec check-raised, making it 165,000 after Cimbolas had continued for 40,000, and Cimbolas called the raise.
Malec slowed down on the 3♦ turn, choosing to check. Cimbolas responded by betting 140,000, and Malec called.
The 7♣ completed the board, and Malec checked once again. Cimbolas fired 370,000 into the middle, and Malec check-jammed for 1,130,000. Cimbolas went deep into the tank, but after using two time extensions, he chose to call.
Malec tabled 10♥7♥ for two pair, but when Cimbolas flipped over his Q♦J♥ for trips, Malec's hunt for a second EPT Barcelona Main Event trophy was over.
