Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Casimir Seire
Casimir Seire

Sil Damstra raised under the gun to 5,500, with Ioannis Oikonomidis calling in the hijack and Casimir Seire defending from the big blind.

All three checked the A810 flop to see the 6 land on the turn. Seire checked again and Damstra put out a delayed continuation-bet of 11,500. Oikonomidis folded, but Seire called.

Another round of checks followed on the 5 river, and Seire won the pot with A7 for a pair of aces.

Machado Drills an Ace, Leaving Cantiani Short

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

After a series of preflop bets, Vinicius Machado had worked his remaining stack of 119,500 into the middle from early position and was at risk against Graziano Cantiani in the big blind.

Vinicius Machado: AK All in
Graziano Cantiani: KK

As Cantiani stood up to get a better view of the runout, he saw nothing but bad news on the A28 flop. Machado had snatched the lead, leaving Cantiani with just one out. The 10 turn and 3 river were unforthcoming, instead providing Machado a double-up and leaving Cantiani with a short stack.

Stantchev Nearly Triples

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

2023 EPT Barcelona champion Simon Wiciak open-raised in middle position. Christian Stantchev then three-bet jammed for 43,500 in the hijack, which Stephen Kehoe called in the small blind.

Wiciak reshoved, folding Kehoe out of the hand.

Christian Stantchev: Q10 All in
Simon Wiciak: KK

Stantchev flopped two pair on 610Q to take the lead. However, the board paired on the 33 runout, sending the chips to Wiciak in the end.

La Padula Puts Di Cesare to the Test

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a board of 89A and with around 36,000 in the pot, Giovanni La Padula bet roughly 21,000 from the big blind, and Alessio Di Cesare called on the button.

The K on the turn brought a second bet from La Padula, this time for 22,000. Again, Di Cesare called.

The J completed the board, and La Padula pretty quickly bet enough to put Di Cesare all in for his stack of 88,000.

Di Cesare had to use a few of his time banks before coming to the decision that a fold was best, allowing La Padula to pick up the pot.

Cem Akman: A10 All in

Panagiotis Mavritsakis, who won the massive €825 PokerStars Open Cup earlier this week, four-bet jammed all in for 70,000 under the gun. Michel Karim snap-called in middle position with the covering stack.

Panagiotis Mavritsakis: 1010 All in
Michel Karim: QQ

Mavritsakis would not capture his second trophy of the series in the Main Event, as the 336KA runout eliminated him.

Cimbolas Cracks Aces to Send Morales Crashing Out

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Matas Cimbolas raised to 5,000 from under the gun and faced a three-bet to 12,500 from Gustavo Morales on the button. Cimbolas responded with a four-bet, moving all-in for 57,500. Morales beat him into the pot, putting his slightly smaller stack at risk.

Gustavo Morales: AA All in
Matas Cimbolas: QQ

The Q9J saw the fortunes reverse as Cimbolas claimed the lead. The J turn and K river couldn't save Morales, who wished the table well before exiting.

Mihai Niste
Mihai Niste

Andrey Andreev raised under the gun to 5,500 and Mihai Niste shoved from the next seat for 20,500. Andrija Cvetkovic made it 35,500 from the cutoff, and Andreev called.

With Niste all in, both players checked the QQK flop to see the 3 turn. Andreev bet 20,000, which Cvetkovic called.

The 4 river brought a bet of 40,000 from Andreev, and another call from Cvetkovic.

Andreev showed KQ for a boat to win both the main and side pots, eliminating Niste, who revealed JJ, while Cvetkovic showed AK for top pair.
