Chiva and Stoliar Depart

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Dohyeok Kim raised his button to 20,000. Guilherme Stoliar then moved all in for 42,000 in the small blind, and big blind Jose Quintas four-bet to 110,000. Kim called to the 6♦8♦3♠ flop, which Quintas checked to him.

Kim fired a bet of 55,000, but quickly folded when Quintas raised.

Guilherme Stoliar: 9♠9♦ All in
Jose Quintas: A♦K♣

Stoliar's nines remained ahead on the 4♣ turn, but the river fell the K♦ to decide the pot in Quintas' favor and send Stoliar to the exit.

During the hand, Eugen Chiva committed his final few blinds from the cutoff at another table. Jonathan Rosa called on the button.

Eugen Chiva: A♣6♣ All in
Jonathan Rosa: A♦K♠

Chiva did not find any help on the 10♠8♠9♠3♦A♠ runout, being sent home by Rosa's flush.

Yudhishter Jaswal
Yudhishter Jaswal

Three-way to the 7♦4♣2♦ flop, Yudhishter Jaswal pushed in his last 70,000 from the big blind. Button Jose Criado called, while Simon Wiciak check-folded from the small blind.

Yudhishter Jaswal: 9♦3♦ All in
Jose Criado: A♣7♠

Jaswal's flush draw failed to materialize on the J♣ turn or 3♣ river, eliminating him from the tournament.

Calio Can't Hold On

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Xiaosheng Zheng raised from early position, and when Giuseppe Calio moved all-in for 111,000 from the big blind, Zheng called.

Giuseppe Calio: J♠J♦ All in
Xiaosheng Zheng: K♥J♥

The 2♣3♣A♥ flop was safe for Calio, but the K♣ turn left him drawing to just one out. It wasn't to be for Calio, as the 6♦ completed the board, and his stack was shipped across to Zheng.

No Way Back for Ahuja

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ankit Ahuja
Ankit Ahuja

Ankit Ahuja raised to 20,000 from early position, and Eduardo Kalil defended his big blind.

Kalil checked in flow on the 6♦Q♦4♠ flop, and Ahuja bet 12,000. Kalil check-raised to 48,000 before facing a three-bet from Ahuja to 110,000. Kalil responded with a four-bet all-in, and Ahuja snap-called.

Ahuja had the lower of the two stacks with roughly 500,000, and as such, was the player at risk.

Ankit Ahuja: A♠Q♣ All in
Eduardo Kalil: 6♥4♥

Kalil had flopped best with two pair, and when Ahuja found no relief on either the K♠ turn or 5♥ river, his Main Event run came to an end.

Alexandre Reard
Alexandre Reard

After a lot of raising back-and-forth, Alexandre Reard's stack of 550,000 got into the middle from the button, with Matas Cimbolas trying to send him home from the big blind.

Alexandre Reard: K♥K♣ All in
Matas Cimbolas: A♥A♣

It was poker's classic preflop cooler, with Reard on the wrong end of it.

The clean 4♦4♥6♠10♦2♥ runout was exactly what Cimbolas wanted for his pocket rockets, sending his stack soaring past a million and Reard to the rail.

Toni Kaukua: A♦Q♦

Friberg was dominated by Kaukua and needed a king or some spades to stay alive.

Neither player improved on the 10♣3♠5♥5♦2♥ runout, meaning Kaukua's ace-high won the pot and Friberg was out.

John Dwyer

With about 250,000 in the pot and with John Dwyer all-in, Paolo Boi checked from the big blind on the Q♥8♣7♣ flop, and Brock Wilson checked behind on the button.

Both players checked again on the 5♥ turn and A♠ river. Dwyer showed king-high with K♣10♥, Wilson a pair of sixes with 6♦6♥, but it was Boi who had the best hand with A♣10♣ for a pair of aces.

Boi dragged in the pot, sending one of the Dwyer brothers to the rail.
