Jose Quintas raised to 16,000 in middle position. Eduardo Kalil then upped the ante to 48,000 in the hijack, after which Ersin Ical four-bet to 95,000.
It folded back to Kalil, who was not done raising yet. He pushed all in, covering Ical's stack of 670,000. Ical took some time to think, but ultimately opted to let go of his cards and surrender the pot.
With about 250,000 in the pot and with John Dwyer all-in, Paolo Boi checked from the big blind on the Q♥8♣7♣ flop, and Brock Wilson checked behind on the button.
Both players checked again on the 5♥ turn and A♠ river. Dwyer showed king-high with K♣10♥, Wilson a pair of sixes with 6♦6♥, but it was Boi who had the best hand with A♣10♣ for a pair of aces.
Boi dragged in the pot, sending one of the Dwyer brothers to the rail.
Dohyeok Kim raised to 16,000 from the cutoff, and Ersin Ical defended his big blind.
The 5♥8♥9♠ flop was checked through, but when Ical checked a second time on the A♣ turn, Kim bet 12,000. Ical called, and the 4♦ completed the board. Ical checked once more, but there was no slowing Kim down, as he loaded up a bet of 78,000.
"Nice hand", Ical said to Kim before letting go of his cards.
Barbara Akemi opened to 16,000 in the hijack. It folded to Kalidou Sow in the big blind, who moved all in for 287,000. Akemi requested a count, then called with the covering stack.

The Q♥5♦6♣2♠8♣ flop remained free of aces and jacks, deciding the flip in Akemi's favor and sending Sow to the exit.
Facing a raise preflop, Joris Ruijs three-bet the button to around 60,000, and Davide Marchi cold four-bet the big blind to 130,000. The initial raiser folded, but Ruijs five-bet to 220,000. Marchi used a time bank and then six-bet ripped it in for about 590,000. Ruijs beat him into the pot with a call.

Ruijs had the preflop nuts with pocket rockets, and whoever won this pot would see their stack climb to over a milly and near the top of the leaderboard.
The Q♥5♣2♥ flop didn't contain the paint card Marchi needed, and neither did the Q♠ turn.
Marchi needed a two-outer to survive and leave Ruijs on dust, but it never came as the 3♥ completed the board.
Marchi wished the players good luck as he headed to the rail, while Ruijs' stack soared to around 1,250,000.
Heads up in a pot of roughly 100,000, Jose Quintas checked from early position to Mark Teltscher on the button. Teltscher bet 35,000 on the 4♠6♦9♠ flop, which Quintas raised to 115,000.
After some thought, Teltscher then moved all in for 372,000. Quintas snap-called with the covering stack.

Quintas hit a set on the 10♣ turn to take away some of Teltscher's outs, but it did not matter in the end, as Teltscher's flush draw completed on the K♠ river, awarding him the sizable pot.

PokerStars has announced the return of Sunday Million Live, with the iconic online tournament making just its second live appearance when it heads to Casino di Campione in Italy from October 2-12.
Featuring a €250 buy-in Main Event with a €1 million guaranteed prize pool, like the original format, the tournament will use a hybrid setup, allowing players to qualify through both online and live Day 1 flights before converging on the shores of the Lago di Lugano for the business end of proceedings.
It marks the first time Sunday Million Live has been held since its inaugural outing in 2017 and forms part of ongoing celebrations at PokerStars, with the operator celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026.
Erik Friberg raised to 16,000 from under the gun, which Manuel Ferrari called on the button before Matteo Cecchetti joined in from the big blind.
The action checked to Ferrari on a Q♥6♠4♥ flop, who bet 25,000. Cecchetti folded, but Friberg stuck around. When Friberg checked a second time on the flush-completing 6♥ turn, Ferrari bet again, this time for 55,000. That was enough to earn the pot, as Friberg released his cards to the dealer.
