Clean Double for Xu

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Hang Xu
Hang Xu

Hang Xu got his 29,900 chips in preflop from the small blind and was looked up by Ramiro Petrone in the cutoff.

Hang Xu: AK All in
Ramiro Petrone: AQ

The 448 flop brought some chop outs, but they disappeared when Xu paired his king on the K turn. Petrone cut out the exact amount from his stack and paid Xu as soon as the 8 river had completed the board.

Angelakos Gets Bored, O'Driscoll the Beneficiary

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Conor O'Driscoll opened to 1,000 from under the gun, and when the action folded to Dimitrios Angelakos in the big blind, he moved all in for 14,900.

Unbeknownst to O'Driscoll, this was not Angelakos's first shove in recent hands, as he had recently announced to the table that he was bored.

After some deliberation, O'Driscoll called and was only then made aware by Angelakos that he had only looked at one card.

Dimitrios Angelakos: A6 All in
Conor O'Driscoll: AJ

The 9A725 board was safe for O'Driscoll, who added Angelakos's stack to his own.

Carvalho's Flush Survives Scary River

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Big blind Manuel Carvalho, Lars Kampues in the cutoff, and Ben Heath on the button were on a 7710 flop. The action checked to Heath, who bet 900. Carvalho and Kamphues both called, and the A was dealt as the turn.

Carvalho decided to lead out for 2,400. Kamphues quickly folded, but Heath stuck around and tossed in calling chips. The 10 river then checked to showdown, where Carvalho's K2 for a flush won him the pot.

Selouan Finds Aces to Stack Johnson

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

The action was joined as Mitchell Johnson had manoeuvred his stack of roughly 19,000 into the middle from early position. It was big blind Rodrigo Selouan who had him at risk.

Mitchell Johnson: A5 All in
Rodrigo Selouan: AA

The 6310 offered Johnson some backdoor opportunities, but the 3 saw the contest over, as Johnson was drawing dead.

The K completed the board, and as Johnson headed away from the table, Selouan absorbed his stack into his own.

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

In a relatively small pot on the A3106 turn, Andreas Antoniou got his stack of 28,000 in from under the gun and was at risk against Alper Gocer in the big blind.

Andreas Antoniou: AJ All in

Rizov Shakes Off Melis

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Miroslav Rizov opened to 1,200 from the cutoff before calling a three-bet to 3,800 from Mario Melis on the button.

Rizov checked in flow on the monotone K27 flop, and faced a bet of 2,500. After a moment's consideration, he check-raised to 8,600, which was enough to see Melis return his cards to the dealer.

Sacchi Surges Further

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Jean Mikhael raised to 1,200 in early position. Adria Diaz called in the cutoff before Daniele Sacchi three-bet to 4,200 on the button. Mikhael then moved all in for about 15,000, folding out Diaz. Sacchi called with a covering stack.

Jean Mikhael: JJ All in
Daniele Sacchi: AQ

Mikhael stood up as the 72Q flop paired Sacchi, and he would not sit back down as the 8 turn and 3 river did not improve his pair of jacks.

Aces Play it Safe

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

The action was picked up with 6,400 in the pot and two players heading to a flop.

Khossein Kokhestani checked the action from early position over to Igaal Hanouna on the button, who bet 2,600 on the monotone 4Q5 flop. Kokhestani flicked in a call.

The turn 5 paired the board, and both players checked.

Completing the board, the J saw both players check again.

Kokhestani flipped over Q8 for top pair, which was no good versus the AA of Hanouna.

Gorshkov Overtakes Kashino

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Andrii Gorshkov was first to act and raised to 1,000. Fabio Pagliarulo called in the cutoff, prompting Yoshiaki Kashino to squeeze in a three-bet to 3,000 on the button. Gorshkov and Pagliarulo both called, and the 3103 flop was fanned.

It checked to Kashino, who continued with a bet of 5,000. Gorshkov quickly called, but Pagliarulo opted to fold and leave himself with less than eight big blinds.

The 7 turn then checked to the Q river, where Groshkov placed a small bet of 2,200. Kashino assembled calling chips, but eventually put them down and mucked his hand instead.
