Gutierrez retaliated with a three-bet to 70,000, after which Djenkal moved all in. Gutierrez's stack of 150,000 was covered, and he snap-called for his tournament life.

Sami Bechahed moved all in for 15,000 under the gun and Ranno Sootla called in middle position. Diogo Duarte then reshoved on the button and Sootla, with around 50,000 remaining, took a minute before folding.

"I think we had the same hand," Duarte said to Sootla, who shook his head.

"Ace-queen is the hand I wanted to see," Bechahed said as he and Duarte saw the flop came J♦9♦4♣. Bechahed took the lead with a pair of nines, and Duarte couldn't catch up on the 2♥ turn or 3♣ river as Bechahed tripled up.

"You bust me?" he asked Sootla after the hand.

"No," Sootla replied.

With around 30,000 in the pot on a board of A♠3♦4♥3♠, Orpen Kisacikoglu bet 17,500 from the big blind and Nicolas Nabet called on the button.

The river was the 5♠ and Kisacikoglu bet 66,500, leaving himself just one 500 chip behind. Nabet went into the tank for a minute, but eventually called.

Kisacikoglu peeked back at his cards and sent them into the muck face down. "Yes, papa!" Nabet shouted out, jumping out of his seat and he slammed down 10♠10♣. Nabet ran away from the table in celebration, knocking over a few drinks on the ground in the process as Kisacikoglu could only manage to laugh off the beat.

After some thought, Abernathy reshoved. Ribouchon instantly called off his stack of 75,000, and the players revealed their cards.

Ribouchon instantly mucked his cards and hurried away in disbelief. Abernathy, meanwhile, calmly raked in the big pot, soaring to two and a half times the average stack.

Abdulzahra was ahead with his queens, and the K♥9♥4♦3♦10♠ board kept him in front and earned him a double up.

The action did not end there, however. There was an extra 500 chip in the pot, and Abdulzahra was unsure about whether it was his. Zarbo protested that he shouldn't have to pay off the extra chip, and demanded that tournament officials check the cameras before action continued.

An official informed Zarbo that they weren't going to pause the game, and Zarbo continued to protest for several minutes while the situation was resolved.

Ponomarev spent a while in the tank. Eventually, the clock was called on him. His 30-second countdown was nearing its end when Ponomarev hastily tossed in a calling chip.

Ionita could only show a bluff with K♣10♥, meaning Ponomarev dragged the big pot with his A♠Q♣ for top pair.

At another table, Domencio Di Vito and Eelis Parssinen went to the river on a board of Q♣K♦A♣Q♠J♦. Parssinen then bet 6,000 from under the gun, and Di Vito moved all in for 54,000 in the cutoff.

Parssinen let out a laugh and tanked for a minute before calling. Di Vito turned over A♦Q♦ for a full house, and Parssinen flashed king-queen for a smaller full house as he mucked. The stacks were recounted, and Di Vito barely had Parssinen covered to send the Finnish online star to the rail.
