Daniel Custodio bet 3,500 from the button on a flop of 5♠K♦4♦, Eduardo Amaral moved all in for 19,100 in the small blind, and Custodio called.
Eduardo Amaral: A♦6♦
Daniel Custodio: 8♦7♦
Custodio had straight and flush draws, while Amaral was chasing the nut flush draw. The 7♥ turn improved Custodio to a pair, and Amaral couldn't catch up on the 4♣ river as he was sent to the rail.
Nicolas Lecoeuvre raised to 1,300 in middle position before Joao Tomas three-bet to 4,500 in the hijack. Xavier Gour then moved all in for 12,700 from the button, and Lecoevure called. Tomas then reshoved for 68,000, and Lecoevure tanked for a minute before folding.
Xavier Gour: 7♥7♠
Joao Tomas: K♣K♦
Lecoeuvre revealed he had two queens after Tomas turned over his kings. The board ran out A♠4♦2♣6♣10♥ to earn Tomas the pot and send Gour to the rail.
Endrit Geci and Marius Irimia went to the turn on a board of 9♠3♣J♣Q♥ when Irimia bet 3,600 from the cutoff. Geci called in the small blind.
The river was the K♠ and Geci moved all in. Irimia called for his last 16,000, and Geci turned over A♠10♦ for a rivered straight. Irimia angrily threw 10♠8♠ into the muck as he made his exit.
Terry Jordon three-bet to 4,000 in the big blind and was called by Vitalijs Korhs in middle position, Soraya Estrada on the button, and Parham Ahoor in the small blind.
"Family pot," Jordon said as they went four-handed to the 8♥6♣3♦ flop. Action checked around to Estrada who bet 4,000, and only Jordon and Korhs called.
Jordon asked to see Estrada's remaining stack going to the K♠ turn. "I can use a double up," Jordon said, leading out for 5,000. Both Korhs and Estrada called, and the A♣ fell on the river. Jordon then bet 12,500.
Korhs quickly folded, but Estrada moved all in for 22,900. "I know you have a set, but how do I fold this? I bet it's threes, because I lose to threes all the time," Jordon said, tossing in the chips to call.
Estrada didn't have threes, but she did show 8♦8♠ for a set of eights. Jordon tossed A♠K♦ into the muck and handed over the double up.
Alessandro Pichierri raised to 1,100 under the gun and Luc Lafontaine called in the hijack. Jimmy Armougom then three-bet to 3,700 on the button and Pichierri four-bet to 21,100. Lafontaine got out of the way, but Armougom moved all in. Pichierri only had around 3,000 remaining and quickly called for his last chips.
Alessandro Pichierri: A♣K♥
Jimmy Armougom: 10♠10♥
Pichierri was racing for his tournament life against Armougom's tens, but he couldn't connect with the 9♠2♠6♥4♦5♦ board and was sent to the rail.
Mercedes Osti raised to 2,100 under the gun and Georgios Skarparis moved all in for 13,200 in the hijack. Ali Abdulzahra called in the cutoff, while Osti flung 8♣8♦ into the muck.
Georgios Skarparis: 8♥8♠
Ali Abdulzahra: A♠A♥
"No! I don't want to see that," Skarparis said to Osti as he also showed two eights. He was drawing thin against Abdulzahra's aces as the flop came 9♦6♦4♣. "That's okay," Skarparis said, and the 10♥ turn gave him outs to a straight.
"That's better," he added, but he missed the 3♦ river and was sent to the rail.
At the same table, Endrit Geci has built up a stack of around 150,000.
Gabi Livshitz was under the gun with a raise of 15,000 in front of him before Edgard Moreau moved all in from early position. "Sorry, guys," Livshitz told his tablemates as he went deep into the tank before eventually calling for his last 35,000.
Gabi Livshitz: A♥K♦
Edgard Moreau: Q♥Q♣
Moreau hit top set on the Q♦3♣4♦ flop, and Livshitz was already leaving the table as the 2♦ fell on the turn. He had to be called back as he picked up straight and flush draws, but the A♣ river was no help and Livshitz was sent to the rail.
"I folded jacks," tablemate Marc Uzan said after the hand.
With around 15,000 in the pot on a board of 2♦Q♦K♣3♣, Nicolaus Paszkiewicz bet 5,000 from the big blind before Enrico Coppola moved all in for 21,700 from early position.
Paszkiewicz leaned back in his seat and let out a big sigh as he went into the tank. He took more than a minute before calling, and Coppola turned over K♥Q♥ for top two pair. Paszkiewicz could only show A♥K♠, and he was left handing over most of his stack after the J♥ completed the board on the river.
Manuel Carvalho raised to 700 in early position, getting called by Philipp Hasenburger in the hijack and Ermanno Di Nicola on the button.
Florian Duta sat in the small blind and squeezed in a three-bet to 5,200. Carvalho and Di Nicola called, while Hasenburger got out of the way.
Duta continued for 2,000 on the Q♠A♠A♦ flop. Carvalho raised to 5,600, forcing out Di Nicola. Duta was not satisfied, however, and clicked it back to 9,200. Carvalho called the min-raise, and the 3♦ fell on the turn.
Duta spent a while in the tank before he put Carvalho all-in. Carvalho snap-called for his stack of 12,900, and the cards were revealed.
Manuel Carvalho: Q♥Q♦
Florian Duta: K♣10♣
Duta's bluff had no outs against Carvalho's flopped full house, and the meaningless 9♦ river rolled off as Carvalho raked in the huge pot.
