Wuai-Cheng Tsang: A8 All in
Arthur Emig: 106

Carlos Ribeiro and Daniel Custodio Bubble EPT Paris Main Event

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Carlos Ribeiro
Carlos Ribeiro

Two spots away from the money, Carlos Ribeiro put in his last few chips from the big blind on a board of A4210 and Renato Minicuci put him at risk in the hijack.

Ribeiro could barely stand to look at the board as they waited to turn over their cards, while, on the other hand, Minicuci was playing to the crowd gathering around the table and happily posing for photos.

Carlos Ribeiro: Q10 All in
Renato Minicuci: 98

Ribeiro showed a pair, but Minicuci had turned a flush and left Ribeiro drawing dead. The river was the 3 and Ribeiro was sent to the rail.

Simulteanously, at another table, Pawel Wojciechowski had raised under the gun and called when Daniel Custodio three-bet jammed for 28,000 from middle position.

Daniel Custodio: KK All in
Pawel Wojciechowski: A8

Wojciechowski paired his ace on the Q7A flop, making him a big favorite.

Custodio needed a king to survive after the 4 turn, but his status as bubble boy was set in stone as soon as the 10 river hit the felt.

Custodio wished his former opponents good luck and departed the tournament area. With 215 players remaining, the EPT Paris Main Event continued in the money.

Giovani Torre got his stack of 85,000 in under the gun and was at risk against Lucas Bardot in the small blind.

Giovani Torre: AK All in

Keating the Inspiration For ChatGPT?

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

"I had 20K to start the day. I thought I was going to make it to the Paris soccer game tonight," Alex Keating told his tablemates.

"Don't use the S-word here," Jonathan Bonnin replied.

"Football is such a stupid name for a sport. It's not called stick-puck or basket-net," Keating replied as he and Bonnin then debated using Celsius or Fahrenheit.

"What's the boiling point?" Bonnin asked him.

"212. What did you prove? You said nobody knows that, and I just answered you. You have no idea how smart am I. When they built ChatGPT, they used my brain. Go ahead, name a country," Keating replied.

"Nigeria," Mehdi Chaoui said.

"See, I've heard of it. That's how smart I am," Keating said.

Viet Vo then raised to 9,000 in early position, and Igor Pihela called in middle position. Keating three-bet to 38,000 in the hijack, and Vo quickly folded. Pihela also mucked A2, and Keating showed him 1010 as he took the pot.

"Ask me another trivia question," Keating said to Chaoui.

"I don't want to get pwned," Chaoui replied.

Iago Sturzeneker: QQ All in
Tomas Jozonis: AK

"This is the time to run good," Jozonis told Sturzeneker.

"Apparently not," Sturzeneker replied as the 95A flop paired up Jozonis.

Ruijs Applies Bubble Pressure to Gros

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Heads up on a flop of 923, Benjamin Gros bet 6,000 from middle position before Joris Ruijs raised to 28,000 in the big blind. Gros then reraised to 56,000.

Ruijs came back with an all-in shove, sending Gros deep into the tank. He leaned over the table, looking right at Ruijs for several minutes before tablemate Thomas Cazayous called the clock. His countdown reached zero, and Gros' hand was declared dead.
