Olivier Fazio had open-raised from the hijack when Christophe Morbee flicked in a three-bet to 28,000 from the cutoff. Fazio responded by clicking it back to 65,000, and Morbee called.
Fazio continued for 22,000 on the J♦A♦7♦ flop. Morbee called to the 4♥ turn, where he tapped the table and mucked his cards when Fazio pushed in a bet of 70,000.
In a pot of 55,000, Salman Ramzi checked from the hijack to Simon Mikek on the button, who bet 25,000 on the Q♠2♦K♥ flop.
Ramzi then min-raised to 50,000, after which Mikek shoved all in for roughly 110,000. Ramzi snap-called with the covering stack.

Ramzi had flopped top set for a big lead over Mikek's aces. The 4♠ turn and 9♣ river failed to provide Mikek with a miracle ace, and he was sent to the rail a few spots before the money.
Over at another table, Danut Chisu got his last 90,000 or so in preflop from early position against Tsugunari Toma in the big blind.

Toma made a set on the 3♦10♣2♠Q♥J♦ runout to crack Chisu's aces and leave him empty-handed.
Chady Ojeil moved all in for 145,000 from early position and was up against Carlos Ribeiro in the big blind.

Ojeil was dominated and at risk, while Ribeiro also had most of his stack in the middle as he was poised for the knockout going to the 9♣4♥9♠ flop. The 6♠ turn was no help to Ojeil, but he spiked the Q♥ on the river to make two pair and double up, leaving Ribeiro on a short stack approaching the bubble.
