Blanco Shoves on Sitbon; Wojciechowski Picks Off Ferreira

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Lucas Blanco bet 10,500 from the button on a flop of 983 and Julien Sitbon called in early position.

Both players checked the 6 turn. Sitbon then led out for 10,000 on the A river, and Blanco moved all in for 30,000.

"Nice river, or not. You get all of it," Sitbon said as he quickly folded.

At another table, Rui Ferreira opened to 6,000 in early position, Pawel Wojciechowski three-bet to 19,000 in the hijack, and Ferreira called.

The flop came J7K and Wojciechowski continued for 14,000. Ferreira called, and they both checked the 7 turn.

Ferreira then led out for 14,000 on the 6 river, and Wojciehowski called. Neves showed 109 for a bluff, while Wojciechowski had K3 for two pair to win the pot.

In a large pot worth about 60,000, Francisco Perez fired a bet of 22,000 from the small blind. Ewen Trevidy called on the button, after which the 5 appeared on the turn.

Perez decided to move all in for 73,000, but Trevidy made a quick fold once he eyed his opponent's stack.

Ramzi Flips Rapinier to the Rail

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Nicolas Nabet raised to 6,500 under the gun and Gianfranco Iaculli called in middle position. Emmanuel Rapinier then moved all in for 50,000 in the hijack and Salman Ramzi called on the button, while Nabet and Iaculli both got out of the way.

Emmanuel Rapinier: 1010 All in
Salman Ramzi: AK

Rapinier needed his pair to hold on to keep his tournament hopes alive, but the flop brought A86 to give Ramzi the lead with top pair. Rapinier picked up a flush draw, but he improved no further on the Q turn or J river and was sent to the rail.

Zubov Busts as Runcan Shows Prematurely

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Natan Chauskin had opened from early position, and Alexander Zubov moved all in over the top. Paul Runcan called on the button, not having noticed Chauskin's open, and tabled his 1010 after the blinds folded.

After Runcan's hand was ruled live, Chauskin called as well, after which the pair checked through the 2Q633 runout.

Zubov was eliminated when he showed AK, and Chauskin's A10 was no good either.

"It was my fault, I was talking to him," Robin Ylitalo jokingly admitted as the chips were pushed to Runcan.

Cesar Garcia

Cesar Garcia and David Docherty went to the river on a board of AQA58 when Garcia bet 55,000 from the hijack. Docherty spent a few minutes in the tank, but he eventually emerged with a raise to 155,000.

Garcia snap-called and turned over A8 for a full house. "I almost made a really nitty call," Docherty said as he flashed a pair of eights and mucked.

"Wow, what a river," Garcia said, raking in the massive pot that brought his stack up past 500,000.

"We're Back"; Mokri Snaps Off Asipauskas to Double

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Rokas Asipauskas raised to 6,000 on the button before Kayhan Mokri three-bet to 27,000 in the big blind. Asipauskas then moved all in, and Mokri instantly splashed in his last 129,000.

Kayhan Mokri: JJ All in
Rokas Asipauskas: 77

"Ai ai ai," Asipauskas said upon finding out he was dominated.

"Why are you saying ai, ai ai, before the flop?" Mokri countered, trying not to tempt fate, but the 4108AK board left little for him to worry about as he doubled up.

Tablemate Sami Bechahed shared that Mokri was down to one 500 chip earlier today. "We're back. Who wants to get some?" Mokri said.

"You've been back," Sam Abernathy replied.

Minicuci Finds a Call After a Lengthy Tank

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Joshua Gebissa bet 7,000 from the cutoff on a flop of A87 and Renato Minicuci called in the big blind.

The turn was the 9 and Gebissa bet another 26,000. Minicuci again called, and the 2 fell on the river. Gebissa then bet 81,000, leaving himself just 3,000 behind.

"Do you have a set?" Minicuci asked as he went deep into the tank. Minicuci leaned back in his chair and spent several minutes shuffling his chips. He eventually called, and Gebissa turned over AQ for top pair. Minicuci, though, had rivered two pair with 92 to win the massive pot.
