Julien Mariani in middle positon and Lyudmil Ivanov on the button were looking at a J46 flop. Mariani checked it over to Ivanov, who bet 65,000. Mariani then raised to 235,000, and Ivanov called.

Mariani went for a massive shove on the 7 turn, covering Ivanov's remaining stack of 980,000. Ivanov went deep into the tank before he decided to call, risking his tournament life.

Boris Kolev

Boris Kolev raised to 105,000 in the small blind and Tomas Jozonis called in the big blind.

The flop came K106 and Kolev bet 70,000. Jozonis called, and the 6 fell on the turn.

Kolev checked to Joznois, who bet 240,000. Kolev called and checked again on the 7 river, and this time Jozonis bet enough to put Kolev all in.

Kolev ended up burning through eight time banks before calling for his last 675,000 with QQ, but Jozonis showed 76 for a full house to win the pot and send Kolev to the rail.

Ivanov Doubles as State Scouts the Room For Him

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Lyudmil Ivanov
Lyudmil Ivanov

Hugo De La Fouchardiere raised to 60,000 in the cutoff before Lyudmil Ivanov three-bet to 515,000 in the small blind. De La Fouchardiere then moved all in.

"I'll check for you," Adrian State told Ivanov as he got up to see if there were any all-ins at other tables.

"Big pot there," State told him, pointing at the adjacent table where Bruno Fuentes and Jorge Abreu were heads up on a flop of 5A2. Fuentes had bet 40,000 from the cutoff, Abreu raised to 125,000 in the big blind, and Fuentes called.

Abreu bet another 280,000 on the 2 turn, and Fuentes again called. Abreu then bet 75,000 on the 6 river, and Fuentes called once more, only for Abreu to show QJ for a flush to win the pot.

That wasn't an all-in, but there was an elimination on the feature table, and Ivanov waited for confirmation before committing his last 665,000.

Lyudmil Ivanov: 66 All in
Hugo De La Fouchardiere: AK

Ivanov needed his pair to hold up to survive, and he dodged the 82479 board to earn the double-up.

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Zdenek Zizka limped in from under the gun and Raphael Bilger came along from the cutoff. Thierry Gogniat then raised to 75,000 on the button, and both opponents called.

Gogniat bet 100,000 on the 962 flop, and only Zizka called. The turn was the 5 and Gogniat bet another 250,000. Zizka again called.

Both players checked the K river, and Zizka showed QQ. Gogniat, though, had AA to win the pot.
