Stig Topples Seidel

Stig Top Rasmussen
Stig Top Rasmussen
Shortly after winning one of the biggest pots of the day holding 7-2 offsuit, Stig Top Rasmussen continued his rush, eliminating Erik Seidel from the tournament.

Stig made it 900 to go from late position and Seidel came over the top for a total of 2,250. Action folded back around to Rasmussen who made the call and showed {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}; Seidel revealed the {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and would need some help.

The board filled out {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} offering no help to Seidel, who was eliminated from the tournament.

P.S. - Don't let this picture fool you. While he may look calm and collected here, Stig Top is constantly spinning.

Anon 1: {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Anon 2: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

Henning Granstad
Henning Granstad
Henning Granstad called a raise preflop in position and the cards fell {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{J-Clubs}. It was checked to the Norwegian, who bet out 1,000 into a 1,000 pot. The turn was {4-Clubs} and it was checked by both players. The {6-Spades} fell on the river and prompted a series of raises which left Henning all in.

Henning: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

Henning Granstad makes a set on the river but is eliminated by a slow-played set of aces!

A-K vs A-K, A-K vs A-K!

Andrew Grimason
Andrew Grimason
Ian Woodley faced a shove for 11,000 over his 3,000 preflop reraise. He umm-ed and ahh-ed before calling and both player's showed A-K and no cruel intervention from the poker gods resulted in the split.

Meanwhile on the table next door, Andrew Grimason was facing an all-in bet on a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} with 4,000 chips in the from the preflop action, it was the 11,000 of Paul Testud at risk with Andrew covering. He eventually folded and Testud showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. Andrew grabbed his cards before they were mucked to show {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}.
