Players have left the cardroom for a 60-minute dinner break. Play is due to resume around 10.30 p.m. local time
Meanwhile, Day 1b has recently started with 30 players getting the action underway.
Early Position bet 2,200 and was raised by the cutoff to 6,000. The button moved all in for 34,000. Flavien Delestre in the big blind moved in over the top which got the other players to fold.
Button: 9♥9♦
Flavien Delestre: K♣K♠
Delestre stayed perfectly still despite all the action kicking off before him. There was no help for the button on a board of A♥7♠6♣Q♠Q♥ and was sent to the rail.
With 13,500 in the middle on a completed board of 8♦7♥2♥3♥7♦, Glenn Davies bet 5,200 from the small blind.
Felix Schneiders on the button went deep into the tank. After a couple of minutes of silence, Davies quipped "Have you got pocket fives?"
A stunned Schneiders turned his hand over to reveal 5♦5♠ and threw his cards into the muck. Schneiders appeared to be spooked by Davies's telepathic powers!

With the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) returning to Las Vegas this fall, PokerStars have released information about the new 'Path to NAPT', offering players the chance to win their way to Vegas for as little as $0.50.
Two $600 buy-in NAPT Regional events have also been announced, taking place in Maryland and Philadelphia later this summer. Don't miss the opportunity to get involved in some incredible PokerStars Live events.
Last year Sami Bechahed defeated Jonathan Borenstein heads-up to win the 2023 NAPT Las Vegas Main Event and $268,945. He topped a 1,095-player field to win the first NAPT Main Event title in 12 years.
Want to be part of the next one? Well here's your chance! PokerStars is planning on offering 100 chances to secure a Gold Pass worth $10,000 to the Las Vegas NAPT Main Event.
