Khera Loses With Big Slick

Level 24 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

R.S. raised to 50,000 from early position with {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and called a 185,000 three-bet from Aaron Khera from the big blind, who held {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Khera check-called a 75,000 bet on the {5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, and the action checked through on the {2-Spades} turn. The {q-Clubs} fell on the river, and both players checked again for R.S. to win the pot.

Charles Akadiri Eliminated in 8th Place (£8,050)

Level 24 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Charles Akadiri
Charles Akadiri

Timothy Chung raised to 50,000 from early position with {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Charles Akadiri defended his big blind with {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. The flop fell {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Akadiri shoved for 255,000, which Chung called.

The {2-Spades} on the turn and {2-Clubs} on the river meant that Akadiri's hand was counterfeited and Chung won the pot with a better two pair.

Akadiri departed in 8th place.

Khera Doubles Through Reardon

Level 24 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Trevor Reardon raised to 60,000 from early position with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Aaron Khera three-bet to 180,000 from the big blind with {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. Reardon moved all in and Khera called for 510,000 in total.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} and despite Reardon picking up additional outs to the straight on the flop, Khera held for the vital double up.
