Katie Swift has been eliminated after another tangle with Neophytos Neophytou, and she relayed us details of the hand.

A player opened to 800 and Swift flat-called. Rupinder Bedi three-bet to 3,200 and Neophyto four-bet to 7,500. The original raiser folded and Swift five-bet jammed with {k-}{k-}.

Bedi folded and Neophytou called with {j-}{j-}, only to flop a jack to eliminate Swift.

Bracelet Buddies Sat Together

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante
Steve Jelinek and Carl Shaw
Steve Jelinek and Carl Shaw

Two bracelet winners are in the field today, in the shape of Steve Jelinek and Carl Shaw. Jelinek's bracelet came back in 2010 when he won $245,871 in Event #41: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better.

Shaw picked up his bracelet in 2019, defeating Tony Dunst heads-up in the final event of the WSOP.

The pair were discussing the upcoming 2022 WSOP, with Shaw unable to attend ahead of the upcoming birth of his child in May.

"The WSOP isn't going anywhere," said Jelinek, with Shaw murmuring agreement.

Katie Swift

Katie Swift has joined the GUKPT Coventry Main Event field, and has been seated at the feature table.

She was explaining to the table how she will listen to one song on repeat for the entire day.

"I've never heard of that," said tablemate Bhavin Khatri. "And do you listen to the same one tomorrow? Well I suppose you would if you make it!"

With action on the turn and 1,600 in the middle already, Christopher Johnson had bet 1,300 and Cosmin Penescu raised in the next position to 3,500.

Johnson called and the river was the {3-Diamonds}.

It checked to Penescu who bet 4,200. Johnson counted out the chips early, but went deep into the tank. Just as his tablemates were contemplating calling the clock he folded. Penescu turned over {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a set of fours and chipped up further.

Defending Champ Faces Filth on the River

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante
Steve Jelinek
Steve Jelinek

Steve Jelinek opened and Tom Bacon three-bet from the button. Philip Tate called in the big blind, as did Jelinek.

The {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} flop checked to Bacon who bet 700 and Jelinek, who won GUKPT Coventry last year, was the only caller.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and both players checked. The river was the {j-Hearts}. Jelinek checked again and watched as Bacon bet 2,500.

Jelinek called, with Bacon turning over {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for top pair. Jelinek showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} having been out kicked.

"Filth on the river," he said, handing over chips to his opponent.
