Jordon into Six Figures

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Terry Jordon didn't have things his own way yesterday, busting three times inside of two levels. However today he's been on a better streak, and is up over 100,000 in chips, at the expense of tablemate Deborah Worley-Roberts.

Hindry Doubles Through Melin

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Sinem Melin raised to 700 from under the gun and got two callers before Joe Hindry three-bet to 3,500 from the big blind. Melin was the only caller and the flop came {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}

Hindry continued for 3,500 and Melin shoved. Hindry snap-called for his last 12,400 and the cards were turned over.

Joe Hindry: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Sinem Melin: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The deck had delivered a set over set and the turn brought the {j-Spades}. Melin called for a nine but the river was the {a-Clubs} and Hindry doubled up.

Jordon and Worley-Roberts Getting Along Famously

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Earlier, Terry Jordon doubled through Deborah Worley-Roberts with {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} despite Worley-Roberts flopping a set with {5-}{5-}

This time Jordon bet 2,300 on the {j-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop and got two callers including Worley-Roberts. The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Jordon checked and Worley-Roberts bet 3,500 and got two callers.

The trio checked the {3-Diamonds} river.

"Three," announced Jordon with {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Worley-Roberts showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for top pair and the third player in the hand mucked.

"Phew!" said Worley-Roberts. "How did that get through!"

Defending Champ Busts to Pyke

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante
Steve Jelinek
Steve Jelinek

Steve Jelinek was all in with {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} but had run into the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} of Danny Pyke.

The board came {8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} offering the defending champion no help and he was eliminated.

One Pair Good for Taylor

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Blind on blind, Anthony Kennedy bet 1,100 on the {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop and his opponent Guy Taylor called.

The pair checked down the {9-Spades}{4-Hearts} board and Kennedy showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for ace-high. Taylor showed {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and his pair of threes was enough to win the small pot against his neighbour.

No Ace Means Bader Wins

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A player opened to 700 and Martin Bader three-bet to 2,600 in the next position. The original raiser called and check-called 1,700 on the {7-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop, and a further 2,700 on the {a-Spades} turn.

The river was the {8-Hearts}. Both players checked and bader showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for second pair. His opponent mucked and Bader won the pot.
